Unpopular opinion, but i love DBGT. Now i understand that the majority do hate GT, i don´t and i will explain why. I first started with DB, then i moved unto DBZ and then finally DBGT. As far as i can see, most people who hate DBGT have never even watched the OG DB. Why is this important? Because DBGT has the same kind of adventure feel like OG DB has, but with fights resembling DBZ so one might say that DBGT is a hybrid between DB and DBZ. Which is probably why most DBZ fans do not like it. Now the arcs aren´t ... perfect and not executed well, but i think they are still pretty good. The ending was very good and left me satisfied. Yes GT is no longer canon, but i do not consider DBZ and DBS canon either because i don´t like them and they are very different from the OG DB. ( Yes i know DB manga has both DB and DBZ in it, but not my point. ) I really loved the characters and the voice actors. ( I watched GT in Japanese, also the English dub has the same issue as DBZ that they change the dialogue which sometimes even change a character! It´s important that you understand this before you decide if you want to watch sub or dub. ) Well i´m pretty sure everybody has already watched GT by now. Just wanted to share my two cents.

Overall 9/10. Has some problems but almost as enjoyable as OG DB.

This is personally my favorite Manga of all time.

There is so much i want to say about this Manga but i have to think really hard how not to spoil anything at all!

The story follows Tatsuya Iguchi ( Author of this Manga & main character ) and his daily life for the first 30 chapters. After this, the Manga focuses on other characters, gangs & their conflicts with eachother which i really like. The later chapters are also really brutal ( people die and some parts are really gory so watchout if you can´t handle that ).

Personally there´s alot of characters i can relate ... to. I grew up in a Swedish ghetto, so y´all know where i´m going with this :P Anyways the characters is what makes the Manga so good. I really love the majority of the " important " characters and the storyline is very good allthough lately there has been alot of flashbacks we didn´t really need.... Second review ever and it´s probably as whack as my first lmao. Just wanted to share my two cents about my fav Manga of all time! Highly recommend reading it.

Thought that i should update this review at the end of 2022. I wrote this review like 2 years ago, and it was kinda cringe lol. Anyways, DB is the first Anime that i ever really completed. Yes i have seen some that aired on TV in early 2000s but i dont count them. Dragon Ball is basically a parody of Journey to the West, and has literally NOTHING to do with what DBZ became. Some weird space alien planet buster type....... There is so MUCH to say about the OG Dragon Ball, all i can say is WATCH IT NOW. This is by far ... the best Anime i have ever watched in my entire life. I started around 2014 after i got a recommendation from a friend, then i tried to watch and i got hooked instantly. The storyline, the characters, the voice actors ( Japanese ) it just blew my MIND because at that point in my life i have never even watched anything like that. It was a surreal experience, and im glad i got to enjoy it. Again, all i can say is, that if you have not seen it, you SHOULD. Also i would like to say that the sequel DBZ and DBS is far different from this. There is no space aliens, planet buster op stuff.
