Hey dude its been a while. How are you? how are your anime?(lol)
I just finished the manga for Kami nomi, yes it finished!!! and it was a REAL ending not just some made-up crap just to get you to curse the time you spent reading the manga and watching the anime. I dont wanna spoil anything but I will say that they wrapped up nicely, I only have minor questions, questions that are not really necessary. I applauded when I "saw the ending"(lol) Keima humor.
I just saw the forth season out of excitement and I loved it. The events with Chihiro were awesome!
btw, I saw that you watched No Game No Life, are you liking it. I thought that the pilot wasnt really good but it gets better after episode two and beyond.
Also, how was Nisekoi? I personally read the manga waay before the anime was aired so I kinda felt like Im not really watching it so I decided to watch the anime later although I know all the events.
Also, How was Attack On Titan? Awesome right? I rewatched the anime like 10 times already(lol)
Theres an anime called Gokukoku no Brynhildr. you should check it out, its pretty descent.
Hope to hear from you dude :):)

Hi man!! Man it's been a while since I last got into MAL.
I'm now studying at the states and I'm having the time of my life. I actually went to the animecon in DC last September. Awesome!!
So you're having exams, that's tough, hope for the best grades.
Good to know that you're liking kami nomi, hows it going so far with you?
Hacking in MAL? That's weird. What did they do, hack user accounts?
Looking forward for your reply :)))
walloman Jul 29, 2013 12:11 PM
Lol. I didnt get that one...
Anyways, about kami nomi. You dont know how right you are; I thought that theyll make the rest of the conquest judging from the end of the second season, which was the reason why I read the manga in the first place. So you can get why id get a little disappointed.
I agree, then you get used to it over time.
Well, the summary they gave wasnt enough, there were amazing scenes that theyve skipped. I think its very doubtful that theyll talk mo explicitly about the previous conquers (which I gope theyd do)
But hey, at least they made a third season. Theres a saying in my country that I can translate roughly to "dont be a picky begger" and I guess this applies to me in this situation.
Btw, how is Ramadhan going with you so far?
Please comment when you can. :)

I don't remember comparing the world god only knows with hentai in my rebuttal, but okay. Although, I do agree with you that fundamentally hentai and anime are different.

The setting is stereotypical and so is the dating sim game approach, which has been done before and the premise of some girl coming from another world whether that be aliens or demons has been done before....( To Love ru, Amagami SS for the dating sim game)

It's not a character development mindset, but character depth rather than development I think is important for the following reasons. Firstly, the viewer is able to relate to the character with a larger background on the character. Secondly, the characters motivations are fleshed out and become more humanized leading to a multi-dimensiona characterl, instead of a hollow one-dimensional caricature. Lastly, character depth usually helps by advancing the plot as the main characters or other characters aspirations intersect with the growth that occurred, because of the depth of character development undergone.

The females shouldn't be the catalyst of the story, as the woman aren't fully entrenched in the story line existing in a couple of episodes of the story acting as mere plot devices. The catalyst should be the main character, because he's the most prominent character in the anime and the most instrumental character in whether they succeed. Another problem with the multi-girl dating sim formula pertains to the girls suddenly after a couple of episodes acquiring a new outlook on their lives just with the interference of the main characters. Many of the changes that you have listed would have realistically would have been a much larger undertaking than a few days of development; self-esteem issues can"t be fixed in a matter of days with the magic of the protagonists persuasion. Why should I care about the characters problems when they're solved in record time by a dating sim nerd that knows little about real life relationships and in fact abhors them? Irony......Lol.

Hey dude, so I just finished watching the first episode of kami nomi, and I have to say that IM REALLY PISSED. I mean, the episode was good and all, and they captured the highlight moments perfectly, but skipping 30 chapters worth of conquering is a little absurd wouldn't you think?
And what a shame the conquests were REALLY good, I was looking forward to seeing them animated.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this episode a lot, and it was well-worth the wait. I only hope that they can keep up the good work. :)
walloman Jul 14, 2013 8:34 PM
Thanx! Yeah, it was. I got an A for my final score in highschool, which is aweome!
I didn't get to see it yet, but saw a glimpse and it pissed me off; I cant believe that they skipped the Yui conquest. I was looking forward to seeing the rest of the conquests, but I guess I cant judge yet, I mean, I haven't finished the episode yet. But its a two year wait so i'll watch it very carefully. :)
i'm downloading all the anime you've wrote in your comment as im writing, except To Luv Ru Darkness, I have a terrible history with it...
yeah, Ramadhan. but hey, ill fast for two months if it meant getting a break. lol
btw, you changed your picture, right?
is that you in it?
please comment when you can. :)
Damn!! Im glad to be back!!

First of all, I gave it a 4 and that's below average rating, not a horrible rating. Secondly, I wanted to give the series a chance, but alas the second sequel continues with the ridiculous harem dating sim format that has becomes entrenched in the series. Thirdly, even if this dating sim game managed to break away from its inexorable harem mentality, I still wouldn't have rated it so high for the following reasons. 1. The premise is not original, the harem dating sim has been done before in anime series and hentais. 2. The setting is your typical high school setting with all your stereotypical characters. 3. Thus, the third reason is primarily on the shoulders of the characters, as we the viewers have stereotypes ranging from the hot high pop idol to the reticent shy girl and lets not forget the high school athlete that everybody ones to be. The fourth and last germane reason I can think of is the amount of episodes given to each sim which is minimal. There's very few episodes dedicated to each character, which makes character development impossible as there's not enough time aloted for the main character and the dating sim girl to build chemistry that evolves into a mature relationship.

Man, respondnig to your concern about why I dropped out Kami nomi. It's precisely because it's my favorite manga, it has 2 of my favorite characters of all times (Keima and Haqua), and of course, because I know that tearing apart the original material, it's an insult for all of the fans.

They compressed, and almost skip my favorite girl's arc (Tsukiyo), and a lot of material that was essential to comprehend what's coming next. And in this first chapter, ignoring how rushed it felt, they changed a lot of things.

I hardly stand the things they have done with the Tenri's Arc OVA, where they pull out the things that makes it funny. But now, they will not mess up with my favorite manga again.

Maybe I overreacted a little, and probably I will re-take it sometime in the future, but now I'm extremly upset.

P.S. Haqua Rocks!!!

i dont know why you have watched the show, but i did it, because i had some expectations in regard of the narrative. for me, the details of the realization are not a cause in themselves for watching the whole show. i find the value of each aspect to be determined by the way everything fits togehter, especially with the narrative. so, no voice acting can compensate bad character drawing. and since the characters and the story were just stupid, i grew impatient, frustrated and angry and finally dropped it. so it was "unwatchable", since i was emotionaly not able to continue. does that answer your question?
Drejul Jul 9, 2013 5:21 PM
I rate anime on how much I liked it. There are certain things that I like, and things I don't like.

To give you an in-depth list of those things, I would have to rewatch it.

First I would like to know how you found me.
walloman Jul 4, 2013 10:43 AM
Man. I just graduated. Finally im gonna watch some anime.
So, what did I miss?
walloman Jun 7, 2013 9:23 AM
hey dude, can you help me? a friend of mine told me about that he had watched a long time ago but didnt get to finish it. i only have scribbles of knowledge to go with. he said the title has the princess or something similar and the story is about two knights rescuing whom was was being held captive and the story is basically the journey back. its 24 or 26 episodes long and the princess has a small pony-tail and curls on the side of her face.
if you can find this anime id be really grateful dude.
