Both have really serious subject matters, and debate philosophy, but also offer the same kind of awkward humor most of the time that sometimes make you wonder if you should laugh or cry. They're also both more dialogue based, where you have to really pay attention to everything due to lots of small details like things going on in the background or just hidden things that characters say that are often fairly important in some way. Interestingly, neither of them have any actual background characters (a.e random, nameless people in crowds), but they manage to make it fit and not feel like it's something missing.

Nanatsu no Taizai

Both are a shonen action / adventure series. The main protagonists in both series' are wanted criminals, who are simply outlaws over actually bad people. Meliodas is like the hilarious offspring of Luffy and Sanji. The art styles use similarly bright colors, that kind of disguise the darker theme of the series. Nanatsu no Taizai (aka The Seven Deadly Sins) is much like One Piece, except with knights rather than pirates, with it's lighthearted-ness and bad-ass cast of characters, and it seems to hold promise for some awesome adventures like those you'd see in One Piece.

For one, they're both by the same author. They both follow a guy who has his heart set for a girl who isn't interested in him the same way, who then is confused by other girls that fall in love with him. They both have a great and realistic cast of characters, and have lots of exciting and embarrassing moments, that aren't like a typical romance anime, in fact they are both less about comedy and more about romance.

Similar cast of characters. They're both slice-of-life / comedy with all female leads. Konata is a lot like Toshino; a bit of a pervert, a huge otaku, and completely enigmatic. Yuru Yuri is Lucky Star if all the characters in Lucky Star were lesbians and in middle school.

Both have a very similar humor and near identical amount of randomness. Abenobashi is much more story driven, but they both deliver a lot of confused laughs, and have a surprisingly dark tone at times.

For starters, they're by the same author. They both have heave romance / comedy elements, as well as being harems with lots of ecchi. The characters also have a lot of similarities. Negima is pretty much Love Hina with a some typical shounen elements, like adventure and action, and a much larger cast of characters.

Both have really similar art styles for one. The initial main characters are really similar in personality and appearance. They also both have a lot of adventure and are about standing up for ones friends. The biggest difference is that one is about mages and one is about pirates.
