my review pretty much reinforces what i see most people on here feel. I really enjoyed danmachi with bell and i was excited to hear about sword oratoria, while it wasn't a new season it was said to be from Aiz's point of view. I fully believe going into it thinking that was one of the reasons I didn't enjoy it as much. While some of the moments with Aiz were enjoyable (for me at least), they were few and far between. Instead this story focuses on Lefiya, a girl in her familia who is obsessed with her and frankly, is down right annoying.


Sword ... Oratoria is worth the watch is you're interested in learning more about the Danmachi setting but before you start be warned, this isn't "The Ais Show" most fans were hoping for.

With season 2 underway a friend of mine that's not very versed in anime was asking me about my thoughts on attack on titan before they started watching so while I have it on my mind I figured i'd make a spoiler free review just in case someone is interested and hasn't been told much about it as well.

Overall the story is very interesting in my opinion. We start off in a world where humanity has been all but destroyed by giant monsters called titans except for the people living inside the walls that protect them. It follows Eren jaeger (who's childhood dream is to ... explore outside the walls) and his friends after the titans get through the first wall and kill thousands of people including his mother, which leads to him becoming obsessed with killing all the titans. A quick warning though, there is gore in this anime, which may be a turn off for some.

The art and animation are great, almost nothing ive seen in it to complain about in both seasons so far other than a few cgi scenes for a titan in season 2 that really wasn't all that bad. The music is always great and fitting and the voice acting is very well done to were even I can tell that the actors are doing a fantastic job. Even the english dub which I just started watching is very well done in my opinion.

Overall, the series is a roller coaster of action, emotions, great characters and world building that is very well done and keeps you glued in and wanting more and more every week.

I know quiet a few friends of mine that are really big fans of anime but have yet to watch (or in some cases, even hear about) drifters. I'm not very good at reviews but I have been watching anime for over 22 years now and I can honestly state that drifters has been my favorite anime of the past few years.

The story follows a samurai named Toyohisa Shimazu, who is killed during the Battle of Sekigahara. After his death he then finds himself in a hallway, standing in front of a man who is sitting behind a desk (who in some odd way ... reminded me of J. Jonah Jameson from the old Spiderman cartoon) before being pulled into a doorway. He is then found badly injured by elves, who become terrified upon realizing he is what they refer to as a "drifter" but instead of running away they bring him to the other "drifters" that are hiding in the forest. We quickly find out they are warriors from our world and from different time periods based on real life historical figures. As events unfold over the course of the series you start to see their real purpose for being there is to help combat the "ends".

The story is by Kouta Hirano and definitely has the same feel to it as Hellsing Ultimate with the art and violence (with a more interesting story in my opinion). So if that's not your cup of tea, then I highly doubt you would enjoy this.

Im not really a reviewer or anything, so if you want a great in depth review...keep looking. All i can say without spoiling anything is this was pretty fun for me to watch. Its not going to amazing you with its story or anything but if you want to relax and not have to think, this would be a good anime for that. It feels like SAO mixed in with some Highschool DxD with alittle sprinkle of the old greek gods mixed in. While there are valid reasons people wont rate this high, i feel like it gets a lot more hate than it should ... since it came out after SAO.
