Slice of life is fine but it'll ever bore you someday. Also, what was your first phone? If your first phone was a nokia, maybe you should watch Byousoku 5 centimeters or Mirai Nikki. One is about missed romance, maybe a bit of tragedy/romance/part of school-life, definitively some slice of life but really small - well they are followed in a train, at school, in the street so it's during their live - and the other is a survival game about magical diaries (aka nokias who send SMS that are specials and help the owner to kill other owners) and the most famous serial-killer psychopath of all the anime.

Also, if the girl-gone-crazy-murders-loads-of-people-for-one-guy in Mirai Nikki interests you School Days have it in it (deals with betrayal of couple, the guy cheats on the main girl with her best-friend then with maybe 3-4-5 girls I didn't count), and the very last scene is popular because she's in a psychotic state in front of the guy who cheated on her, and she has a knife.

Also since you have Pancham avatar and Pokemon Sun and Moon in your recent anime list I suppose you know it rather well.
Myself I'm knowledgeable into it if you don't count the Sun and Moon generation (meaning I'm well-versed in Pokemon from generation 1 to 6).
I know strategy, about shiny-hunting and deep mechanics like IV and EV, as well as breeding (which I never did). My favorite is Gardevoir.
Also I love yuri / shoujo-ai anime, literally romance but with girls (if you find it weird it's cuter with the more there are girls *-*)
