Yeah, I'm happy to have a discussion. I think the main reason for our differences is probably how we think fiction affects reality. From what I understand, your belief is under the assumption that viewers are in a state of mind where they can think rationally. I'm looking at shows like Wonder Egg Priority of 13 Reasons Why. Can this show encourage suicide like 13 Reasons Why caused an abrupt jump in suicide? In my opinion, yes. That's why my review is targeted towards sensitive and traumatized viewers because I believe they need to stay far away from it to feel safe. Keep in mind, my favorite movie is Koe no Katachi. A lot of the themes resonated with me because they felt real. Wonder Egg Priority was as artificial as I could possibly imagine it to be. Even if we still disagree, I hope you understand why I condemned Wonder Egg Priority as much as I do. I truly do believe it is dangerous because it might as well be the next 13 Reasons Why.

Hi, thank you for reading my review and also clarifying the intentions of your question. When I co-wrote the Wonder Egg review in particular, I was already planning to do so ever since I watched halfway through the series, not very long before the problematic episodes showed up. I was hoping it was going to get better because I am a hopeless optimistic, similar to other shows. I am a very patient viewer which is why I hate to get caught off-guard by an awful ending that invalidates the journey. Some examples that come to mind are Haibane Renmei and Hourou Mushuko that were not problematic until I saw their endings. Although I almost always finish a show, I don't watch offensive shows unless someone tells me they're amazing. For example, I will never watch Babylon because of the material in that show and all the awful things I've heard. I also may never watch Guilty Crown because of I've heard it has very fascist themes. Unless I'm watching for ironic enjoyment or the laughs, I have no reason to watch offensively bad shows, but inoffensively bad stuff like Chargeman Ken are what I love.
