I hated it, but I kinda liked, but then I hated.

**For a summed up explanation of what I disliked and what I would change as far as an anime format goes, scroll to the end to see my points if you wanna skip my text rant.

When a drama makes me as depressed as in the end of the Chimera Ants in HxH and leaves a sour taste for the characters I was rooting for (w/ HxH was different since the characters opposing the main "antagonist" were much, much more likable).

In my humble opinion it was an anime of highs and lows, they spent too much read more

This is the weirdest portrayal of Miyamoto Musashi you didn't ask for.

There's not much to be said about this manga, you will follow 4 short stories (the title means 4x4, meaning 16 guardian deities of Buddhism) revolving around Musashi's dealing with tragedies of different women who reminds him of his trauma of losing his older sister, with who he had some level of an incestuous relationship (yes you read that right, Miyamoto Musashi the warrior with onee-san fetish complex).

If you are not for the art, which is a decent Gekiga art, this manga may be a huge letdown. And yet on this matter, it is read more

If you came thus far you are already familiar with Innocent and know how great of a historical seinen it is. With probably the best digital art in the manga industry, on a level of detail to rival Berserk and Vagabond (and even surpass them in terms of consistency), the continuation of the Bizarre Adventures of Female Dio Brando (more flamboyance, more bisexual appeal) and her sibling Snow White Johnny Depp is to go even further beyond in absurdity (not in a bad way) and breathtaking dramatic sequences with a political background done right.

Unfortunately I feel there could be more depth and contradictions to humanize read more

I love Berserk. I love older anime done right, which is not the case of this adaptation that many claim to be "the perfect Berserk adaptation", so I will be short and blunt while avoiding any spoilers as to why you should avoid it.

The 1997 adapation of Berserk looks like a low budget Western cartoon trying to mimic Japanese anime, where they hired some disqualified teens with no drawing skills to trace over the manga panels and colored on Paint. Then they did some "animation" on top of that wacky designs.

"But the still panels at least are cool, right?"
Nope, some cheesy fanarts inserted for no read more

This is the story of when Miura attempted to mimic Western political correctness as cringeworth as you can imagine an atempt like this can be. Besides all the positive reviews which I believe are based on just being fan of Miura's work (more specifically, Berserk), there are plenty of issues in this manga that need to be adressed.

Story:
There is no story to be qualified, it's a political NPC commentary in manga format sumed with some strange form of Buddhist morality. A human warrior and a kind of android loli who follows him are captured by an humanoid tribe (Blacks are some bugs) who suffer from read more

Mouse (Manga) add (All reviews)
If you're looking for some light-minded fun ecchi but you're tired of dense highschooler harem protagonists, this series is for you. Wait does he actualy do what's expected of a harem guy would do with horny girls? And there's more story than hentai?? That's Mouse! You won't find any deep meaning in a manga like this as the purpose here is lewd and it does a very decent job in this regard, plus the story works well with other elements.

"Plot" ( . Y . )
Instead of highschoolers, the main characters are grown up teachers, but in reality their work as teachers is just a read more

Mouse (Anime) add (All reviews)
They had just one job... To adapt a simple harem Ecchi that isn't supposed to demand much skill, and they simply screwed that up in a 12 eps anime of 10 mins/ep which is not only a cringeworthy semblance of the manga, but they even had the guts to add FREAKING FILLERS in an anime that short.

To not say it's a complete waste of time, the good things probably (argably?) are the opening, the original characters from which they were based, and the original voice acting. You might as well enjoy the English voice acting for the lolz.

Overall, just read the manga instead. It's not read more
