Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen
add

Nodame is basically college version of Kaguya-sama, but starring Chika as the main character and main love interest to Nodame's version of Miyuki Shirogane, the stoic hardcore student, stubborn and all. Literally, she's even a piano prodigy as well, and have that absolutely chaotic personality, very focused on romance. They are all adults going to music college in this, which is a breath of fresh air from all the highschool anime tropes everywhere.

Jormungand
add

Jormungand is basically Berserk in reverse. You have the main trio of Berserk but all gender swapped: Female Griffith, female one-eyed baddass seeking revenge aka Guts aka best waifu, tan-skinned warrior boy who gets thrown into war due poverty aka male Casca. Female Griffith here is the only one who is more "literal" so to speak, but I digress since I don't want to spoil anything, I will just mention her ambitions and target of affections are somewhat the polar opposite of what Berserk's Griffith is, if this might spark your curiosity.

If you like the Blonde Guy vs. Brunette Guy bromance/rivalry "sub-genre" then that's for you. Just that LoTGH has a 10x more unsatisfying sour ending than Banana Fish.

Mugen no Juunin

Think of a more dialogue heavy Berserk where you would focus on the characters that actually matter, with more banter and page time for the relationship of Guts and Casca, as well as flashed out side characters that feel real, and a humor that actually works and does not feel out of place. The plot progresses on a better pacing and you don't have overly cartoonish or wasted side characters like the Pirates or Wyld, whereas in B.O.T.I. when there's such over the top characters, they are writen in a fashion to where you believe such asshole with no redeeming qualities could exist.

Golden Kamuy
add

Golden Kamuy is what Hunter x Hunter would be as a historical seinen manga. All the amazing characters that have their own exposition time, with their passions, quirks and bizarre personalities shown in a very believable way that is totally empathetic to the reader, not to mention a well constructed plot that does not fall behind.
