nice review on terror and resonance and i dont think psycho pass really tries to be gits so that was kind of pointless to say

Btw, my review for Koe no Katachi is kind of outdated. I changed my opinion about it. If you want to read the updated version, just look at my reviews and you will find it.
Thank you.

I will watch Terra e on my own time and I have no interest in checking out Kakegurui, it doesn't look like anything I would care for.

The bullying and self-reflection of the main character from an abrasive young man to a teen wrapped up in cowardice were handled very well. So if you found solace in that perspective as it relates to your own personal plights, I could understand where your stance lies. But that doesn't justify overinflation. Enjoyment should heighten or lessen a score, not completely dictate it to that extent. I love the living hell out of Argento Soma for the same reason you love this movie, but the highest I gave it in my review was a 7.5/10. Why? Because the tv show is extremely flawed. Your favorites don't always have to be the most highly rated things out there. That's where proper discernment plays key to determining value. Overinflating and already grossly overinflated score only perpetuates the problem the anime community have. They don't know how to separate self from value. It's that reason non-anime fans would see that movie and shit on it for the same complaints I made. When we don't draw a line in the sand of what's quality and what's not, how do we expect any other group to take what we validate seriously? Had this been a live-action film, it would have been critically panned, since movie critics are usually fully functioning adults and the film industry holds things to high standards. But because it's animated, people try to give it a pass.

I'm not for that. It's the reason something like Michiko to Hatchin is in my top 50 series, despite only giving it a 6. It's the ability to fairly value something's efforts, something this community greatly lacks.

Seeing that I've actually studied Sign Language and have been actively involved in the Deaf community, I have a connection as well.... but my connection is rooted in the fact that what I'm seeing is something most actual Deaf people would cringe at since it turns them into 1-dimensional pity party victims. That's like seeing a movie where the entire time they treat a minority like some poor puppy you have to protect.

With that said, this movie is GROSSLY overpraised and I hope the score plummets. It does not deserve to be that highly lauded since it's only selling a caricaturish image of people that don't have a platform to speak out. The content it goes over with the male lead is good, it's everything else that's lacking. Still enjoyable but I can't take any of it beyond face value.
