I’ve only seen about half of this and I already have to say it’s one of my favorite anime ever. This is my first sports anime and I’m not even a volleyball fan or anything, but this is just fantastic. If you’re questioning or unsure if you should watch this I recommend you reboot your brain and just go for it and you just might be surprised.

Characters: 10/10

The story is very straightforward and simple, but the what makes this so amazing and enjoyable is the characters, the comedy, and the theme that comes with the story. As we follow the diverse characters of this volleyball ... team as they overcome different obstacles and grow as players, as teammates, and as people you start becoming very attached to not only the MC but all the other characters too. You already have incredible character development, but then to top it all off you have the perfectly written and animated comedy that makes you love the characters even more.

I have to say, the first 2 episodes of this anime didn’t really hook me in so I held off on it for a while, but when I came back and watched the 3rd it got me super interested and I felt like I had to keep going until the next thing I knew I finished the whole thing. Now I can see why so many people like this show and often recommend it.

Characters: 9/10

The characters in this are the best part of this show in my opinion. The comedy and personality every character brings is really what makes this anime so amazing.

Story: 8/10

The ... story isn’t super unique or anything, but something about the mystery and the dark-ish vibes mixed in with the special abilities and the very well delivered comedy creates something special that I really enjoyed watching. I definitely recommend this and I will surely be watching the next 2 seasons when I get a chance.

I had heard of this anime from some comment under a different anime I was watching and decided to give it a try, and oh boy was I surprised. This is a Chinese anime which is most likely why it’s not very popular, but if you don’t mind that they speak Chinese instead of Japanese (I don’t really know why you would) then you should definitely give this a try.

Story: 9/10

This is not SAO or anything like that, the MC is not transported into the game. He is just the famous top player at the certain game he plays in real life on a computer ... (read the description) and in the scenes in which he’s playing the game it turns into the POV of his character which can be compared to SAO. I don’t think I’ve seen another show with this kind of story, it seems pretty unique to me and considering it’s Chinese it was definitely different in ways than other anime.

Art: 10/10

The animation and art in this anime is amazing which I wasn’t expecting. It’s very realistic and quite different than other anime I’ve seen. These two scores are the greatest strengths of this show and the ones worth mentioning the most. Overall I would give this show a 9/10 for me at least. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it was fun to watch something different for once.

One of the most underrated anime I’ve seen. The story is quite similar to that of “Kokoro Connect” in the way that all the characters are connected, but they don’t switch bodies or anything. I wasn’t expecting too much when I watched this but I was honestly surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

The characters were pretty well developed and likeable, the music was pretty good especially that absolutely AMAZING opening, and the concept of being connected through pain was interesting and not too confusing for me at least.

I highly recommend you give this a watch and see for yourself. Honestly, it even hit me ... in the feels quite a few times.
