So anyway! yeah! I encourage you to give Outlaw Star a chance some time. I've watched it like 4 times already and it's still the best sci-fi anime in a long time.

I see that you're watching Mobile Suit Gundam, pretty dated show, huh!? it's decent and when a buddy of mine watched its sequel called Zeta, he talked up quite a storm and got enraged. Not sure if you already know this, but the MSG: The Origin OVA from 2016 tells you the events that happened before Mobile Suit Gundam or The Origin manga from 2001 (I love it btw, even though it's a long and rewritten Gundam story). I kinda wish that Yasuhiko could write a new manga, but you know, he's old by now.

Eve!! Finally replying here! not at all, I just binged too much stuff since I was a kid haha. And what are you talking about, your list is super impressive! So many series I didn't hear about :o And I see we have lots of series in common! We should definitely suggest series to each other! ^^
Hope we play more AMQ soon too!~

Btw, since you're still a fan of Ayako, then I think Zegapain is also right for you. It doesn't follow a typical anime formula nor is it written exactly like basic literatute at all like a lot of actual anime that I'm seeing now and when this sci-fi anime came out, it was the peak of Ayako's career.

oh yeah my best mile was 6:32 when i was a freshman

i think thats pretty good for a freshman XD
-Yokai- Jan 26, 12:21 AM
that sounds great!

i didnt get decent scores until senior year of highshool, my best 100 was 12.60, and 200 is 26.49 i think?
i had to juggle track with after school math classes too so i also had to worry about that lol
-Yokai- Jan 26, 12:11 AM
do you get decent times?
-Yokai- Jan 26, 12:06 AM
i did 100 meter, 200 meter, long jump
some 400 and forced to do some 400 meter relay lolz

what are you running?
-Yokai- Jan 26, 12:01 AM
hey just stumbled across your profile and noticed that you run track and field :D
i did track for 7 years

I almost forgot that Ayako Kawasumi was one of your favorite actresses and Outlaw Star is one of my favorite roles from her along with GTO. Too bad I couldn't play .hack//G.U. in Japanese and hear Atoli's Japanese voice, which is Ayako's, but I did hear that lady in Odin Sphere. So yeah! Ayako was pretty young back in the late 90s.

P.S I finally completed Suikoden 4, very underrated RPG

I feel like our divisions are quite the opposite from each other. 2 of the xc runner from the town next to mine qualified for the olympics, although they were not fast enough to make it in the actual race. But yeah, you can tell how competitive we are here, especially in the north east. So basically the weather is always in mint condition, but on the contrary, runners here can't stand the gruesome heat.

Which state do you live in if you don't mind me asking? Curious what the forecast/climate is like there.

21:18 is my personal record. Don't think I'm on varsity, in fact to get a letter in my district requires a PR of 18:30 or below. And that's because we are always trying to top the next town, we were rivalries for the past 2 decades. Going sub 7 per mile is hell I'll tell you.

So you practically carry your xc team heh? Well I'm glad that you are trying very hard I presume. And who knows if my time well allow me to qualify in college varaity, but if that's a no, there are clubs either way, at least not as competitive as division III xc.

No worries, I don't go on as often sooo.
Do you have any gud stories care to share during your races?
_Leaf Jan 5, 7:46 PM
Couldn't help but notice that there's a fellow XC runner on MAL?!
Since I'm your sempai, or so it seems, this must be your 1st or 2nd year running, correct?
How were your 5k times? Do you run varsity? What's the layout of your home course? (Sry I got a bit over excited since XC is over for me now, graduating in june this year :'(
Btw, have you watched Run With The Wind? This anime is such an accurate representation of what we potentially go through, can't believe Japan actually embraced a sport that really isn't recognized widely, compared to football/basketball and such.
