The name is Grant and I've been watching anime for the last 5 or 6 years. That said there are plenty of shows I've not seen yet and I'm hoping that getting in touch with a bunch of similar minded people will rectify that! I also hope that I'll be able to discover some good quality manga to read as well as I've not read many of these.

Some of my favorites include movies like The Girl Who Leapt Through Timel, Princess Mononoke and Ghost in the Shell as well as shows such as Mushishi, Read or Die, Code Geass, Claymore and Haibane Renmei.

Yeah thanks, it's pretty hard when it's your first. Back in school we'd get a holiday for the winter and the summer, winter would go through new years and we also had a spring break of course.

We have off-season snow, like during Spring(or sometimes even Summer). Just any sort of retail job is fine with me, I don't have the money to get a food-handler's permit so I can't go into the food industry.(I'm dirt poor).

Summer? xD It's in the middle of Fall over here. I've been pretty busy, what with looking for a job, tons of anime/manga piling up, and now, trying to handle a podcast.

I'm visiting the family. My cousins is pregnant so we're surprising her & throwing her a baby shower. & I'll head to the beach :D theres no beaches here .. :(

Oh no D:. I know the feeling, like sometimes I want to just smack my computer upside the monitor....But then I think about it and don't :P. :O Last Exile!! I hear about that a lot these days for some reason. Nooooooooooooooooo~ :O You didn't get to finish Baccano!? I might go check out this cafe in a bookstore I go to sometimes.

Yes I did. I thought the series was very good overall, although I wasn't too big a fan of the ending. Far too open-ended for my liking.

However, I've actually heard rumors that new episodes of the anime may be produced, so fingers crossed.

I'm looking to get into some Code Geass soon, a few too many commitments at the moment though, heh.

How about yourself? Have you seen any good anime/read any good manga lately?

Well, I like it! It's good for a laugh. I want to cosplay as one of the characters for this year's Armageddon in auckland. :D
