Horimiya is pretty good, but the pacing feels very rushed so far, specifically how it jumps around a lot in one episode. I haven't read the manga for Horimiya so I'll prbly check that out after the season is done.
When you put it like that, it does indeed do a great job in that category, more so than other anime I have seen. But in a large scope of the genre, there isn't much else it offers. It is simple, but I wouldn't say it glorifies how simple it is. Idk tho, maybe I am missing more. I appreciate the civil criticism you have given on my views btw.
