I'm rather surprised that few people realise the ending is an insult to the viewer's intelligence, and that it ruins what would otherwise be a fine story about redemption. The steps it takes towards the end are completely senseless, ruin what came before them, and contribute nothing.

Thank you for your kind words: that review is far from the most popular I have written (because it's one of the most critical) but it's one I am most proud of and it's nice to know that other people felt the same way I did.
