1. I watched FMA when it was being broadcast on American TV, I missed the final few episodes and never saw any of the reruns, I've been meaning to get around to finishing it so I can then watch the Conqueror of Shambala.
2. After the events of the first two dozen episodes of Death Note I found the series to be very unpleasant to watch. Essentially after Light passes the point of no return I found I had zero empathy or compassion for him and no longer had an interest in watching the series.
3. Claymore took a while for me to warm up to. I think it hit it's high point during the northern campaign right up to the Silver Eyed Lion King. The ending wasn't spectacular but it's better than getting a cliffhanger ending then having to wait a few years for the manga to have enough substance for a sequel.
