Taking this one out of the queue is an odd feeling. To have something so constant in your life for so long to be gone. It's making cry thinking about it being over honestly. Kitaro was something I'd never even heard of until this anime was announced. Had not a clue it was the 6th Kitaro or anything about it other than dealing with yokai. Just saw that something was replacing Dragonball Super at its time so why the hell not see what could possibly have the prestige to pull that off.

Didn't think I'd get this invested in the show really. Kitaro with Daddy read more

I took an entire emotional bludgeoning with this show. Somali and Golem, I didn't know what to think of this show when I saw it coming out. Even kind of picked it up on a whim given it had a good premiere time that fit into my schedule. Suffice to say I couldn't be more happy with that decision. This show was an experience in emotional endurance. I cried literally every episode with this show. It's insane really. Idk it that's ever happened before. An anime to make me emotionally spent with each episode. In the best way possible I got thrown through the ringer read more

One of the most fun shows this season, and probably will be for the whole year, comes to its monetary end. Sort of picked this up just because I saw the main girl used a shield and the animation looked cute, couldn't have made a better decision. Had an absolute blast with this show over these past months. Bofuri I didn't expect much going in but honestly from the first episode I enjoyed it. Maple immediately captured my heart with how is it plain adorable she is. Even before becoming a powerhouse she was just so cute. Trying her hardest with that little shield not read more

A beautiful love letter to the medium that is animation. Never have I seen an anime quite like Eizouken. Truly something unique showing the difficulties in not only making animation but following your dreams in general. Eizouken had to go through a lot throughout this shows run. Our there leading ladies Kanamori, Asakusa and Mizusaki all were amazing characters. The heart of this show as they each represented some major part of the animation process.

Our resident producer, director, and animator respectively. All three had great arcs that dealt with their past that lead them to making these animations but also showing how they all read more

The true king has risen to his rightful place. Pretty good show here with Darwin's Game. Had tons of badass moments throughout. I've never really watched a death anime before like Mirai Nikki or Kings Game, never seen those. But thought I'd try this one for something different on Fridays. Concept looked cool and I liked the idea of it. Happy to say I wasn't really disappointed. Other than the aesthetics some of the time it was as great show. Kaname as a main character is someone I can very much relate to and empathize with as soon as we meet him. Being thrust into read more

Just got done seeing My Hero Academia Heroes Rising aka the Deku & Bakugo movie!! Because if the first film was a Deku and All Might one, then this is for Deku and Bakugo. The two absolutely take center stage in this movie. All of Class 1A is there of course helping but it's mainly about the two top bros.

The film is pretty top notch. Better the first I'd say personally. The first was a rescue mission while this was an escort/protect mission per se. Much more enjoyed this film with the heroes defending an island from invasion as opposed to the first having read more

Another new shonen has ended its first run thus making it's mark on the genre. Talk about a flashy finish with Shinra vs Sho being absolutely stunning to see animated. David Production I applaud them for how this show has looked. No matter what you say about the story you cannot in any way discount the art and animation. Every one of the many fights had your jaw on the floor with the fluidity and dynamism being put on display. A feast for the eyes if nothing else, and I'd say there's a good deal else.

The characters I think made the show a lot read more

How far we've come. Wrap up montages at the end of seasons showing the progress of the heroes makes my heart happy every time. Senku made the village into a Kingdom of Science just as he said he would. Truly an exhilarating anime this here Dr Stone showing how inventive a shonen can really be. One of the many newer shonen ushering in a new age of creative shonen that are building upon the previous giants by adding their own spin to the mix.

Dr Stone accomplishing that through focusing on science, knowledge, as a point of progression instead of just physically training to gain read more

It's the heart that drives people. So grow yours to as strong as it can be. That's beautiful, sums up to me what the message of Kimetsu no Yaiba Demon Slayer really is. Follow your heart, listen to it, if your heart is strong you can do anything. The story of Tanjiro and Nezuko is a tragedy there is no doubt but it never feels hopeless. Even at his lowest Tanjiro never gives up, as cliche as that sounds it matters to hear. Some famous words of "Don't give up, don't ever give up". Tanjiro and his heart are the embodiment of that ideal. Striving read more

Ahh Fruba. Season One has closed one this magical story. With the promise of the full adaptation in did time I couldn't have asked for a better representation of Fruits Basket. TMS went above and beyond and then some. A new high mark for anime remakes. Truly resurrecting Fruba from just being an almost cult shojo following to being a fantastic anime that so many people are watching and supporting now. Fruba always deserved this, I'll take better late than never. There's so much to say about what was shown in this first season but I'll try to keep things tight.
