Anime noobie. Trying to have every watch near the beginning be a homerun, with pretty okay success so far. I have too many DBZ figures to actually have a qualified opinion, though. If my scores seem pretty high now, it's because I've been avoiding any anime I think I even have a chance of disliking at the moment. I prioritize, in order: character writing/development > plot/creativity/twist > character personality/interactions > heavy emotional impact/memorability > any remaining metrics of quality measurement.
I normally rank things on the low end (just....take my word for it), I feel it makes it mean more when you give something a high ranking. I will only ever allow one 10; if a better anime comes along, that will be the new 10 and the previous 10 will become a 9.
Feel free to recommend me anything, however I will only have 10 anime at a time in my Plan to Watch list to avoid clutter.
