Hi again! ☆

Everyone has different opinions regarding this manga, especially after the rape was introduced! To be honest, that completely slipped my mind, since it'd been quite a while since I read it.
At the time, it just didn't bother me so much that I couldn't continue the story. I believe he does try to make amends for what he'd done by the end, but I can't really remember if he follows through or if it's brushed off at the end.

If it did grind your gears that much, and the characters became too generic for you to handle, you probably wouldn't gain anything from finishing it. ^^

But I'm sorry you got disappointed with it! Your thoughts actually remind me of an old blog post about this issue, which until I read, didn't realize it WAS such an issue. The link is below, it pretty much sums up this issue and it ended up ruining the manga for this blogger also. :(

Aw. Thank you. I've accepted your friend request.

And yes, I remember you :).

Bwahahaha!! No, no Hisoka. I love Hisoka. XD

Glass Mask's man is a gentlemen who seems young for his age, and the main girl does grow/age quite a bit through the course of the manga. It's almost kinda like... Tsuruga Ren and Kyoko. But a bit more of an age gap. :)
Trust me, it won't even bother you after a while if it does at first.

Ah, yeah... I don't have the patience for it either, but somehow manage it! And when I first read 7seeds I caught up in a few hours haha. I love binge watching series, or binge reading manga when I really get into it.
I will postpone my life to finish stuff sometimes XD

I believe Skip Beat took a lot of cues from Glass Mask, and references it a lot. That's probably why I discovered GM, through Skip Beat! And...well, because of the age gap it's not thrown in your face and the man is...pretty darn hesitant to let on he has feelings for her...BUT HE DOES <3
And it's surprisingly not too creepy. Due to a lot of factors, they just seem like they're made for eachother.
Well, that's up to you to decide, if you read it! I love it though~☆

Hahaha. Oh, Naruto. Poor, poor Naruto. That's why I read the manga.

Yeah I noticed the older I get the more tired I am and the less time I can devote to anime... (yet I can currently keep up with 14 seasonal series lol?)

Glass Mask is... hmm. It just kind of draws you in. I've noticed that anime/manga about acting tend to be really my taste. I can only compare it to Skip Beat, if you've read that.
The main character doesn't realize she has a talent for acting and a lot of pressure is put on her, but she goes to the extremes to make things happen. And there's an older man that supports her kind of an on/off love interest? A daddy long legs, huehue.

It just explores different plays and turns turns acting into... almost a kind of superpower? Maybe that's not the best way to word it... I cannot think of another way to say it, though! >_< I'm not the best at putting my personal analysis of things into words, sorry.

I think, even at the risk of Glass Mask never being finished, it's worth the read. I discovered it through countless shojo that reference it. It's actually a super good classic shojo... although it's been more than a year since the last chapter update. I've reread it countless times!

And it's probably a good thing you don't keep up with current anime... finding good ones is like searching for a needle in a haystack!
jeonggukmyheart Nov 16, 2017 7:43 PM
No, no! That's exactly how I feel. I never expected to really get into it, but it was so varied and explored so many different characters... it was wonderful. I've read my fair share of generic shojo, and they're average, but this was like a breath of fresh air. has been awhile since I've read it, and while it has its problems and drastically evolves it's art style by the end, I absolutely loved it. It has the same feel as 7Seeds, but instead of being survival-oriented, its like... its otherworldly... I can't explain much since I'm afraid I'd spoil something.
The cast is varied, and it has a Glass Mask feel to it.

I'm probably over hyping Made in Abyss, but it made for an enjoyable watch. It's also a nice step back from current other ideas anime, a pure fantasy/adventure instead of comedy tropes we see in shows like Rezero or Konosuba.

Uwaaa, how rare! I never meet other 7 Seeds fans!
You also seem to have good tastes, and we share a lot of anime.
I see you're planning to read Please Save My Earth and watch Made in Abyss too.~
Hope you love 'em! <3

It is quite clear to me that you have made an effort in writing reviews, it's a shame that none of them were popular enough with reception. I think however that you are aware of what you like and your writing style is neat. I encourage you to keep going!
SkyDrop Feb 19, 2017 2:49 PM
Yeah in one word, the plot evolves and matures. The rating 9.17 shouldn't be possible with slow paced story to begin with and beside it has good number of viewers in MAL.

I will definitely give this a try after finishing Ghost in the shell s1.
SkyDrop Feb 18, 2017 11:07 PM
Oh thank you for the Stein;Gate reminder! Yeah I planned to continue watching were I was(Whoops long time back I stopped at episode 3 because I thought it wasnt special).Yeah I definitely gotta watch that ASAP!(I guess I will like it by now)
SkyDrop Feb 18, 2017 10:32 PM
Hmm... I understand that this was my mistake for picking this anime(Well I give it a try because of shaft's artwork and Bakemonotagari really appealed me).

Well looks like giving a drop should be ideal.I think this should be most difficult anime to recommend others to give it a try.

And again I would like to give my thanks to you for clarification.
SkyDrop Feb 18, 2017 12:43 PM
Oh I see. Thanks for the clarification.

I don't like too much narration. The MC looked cool but I didn't like those three sisters(MoMo is really annoying). Also the art still didn't appeal me yet(especially their unnatural wide lips).

I will give it more chance upto episode 11.If still doesn't worth my time, then I will be really dissapointed as I never dropped anime like this before.

Yes, So far I think this anime is not for everyone.
SkyDrop Feb 17, 2017 10:49 PM
Nice review of 3 Gatsu no Lion.So far watching episode 6 and looks like that complain(which I was thinking the same as well) still exist on episode 16.... well shouldn't have touched this anime to begin with but hate dropping anime.

By the way, does it get even better later on?
CzeroC Feb 9, 2017 4:40 PM
Nice review for 3-gatsu no Lion. I like how you compare the art with book ;)
