I flat out love this manga. There isn't a single thing I don't like about it, and I can be hard to please.

I bought this book about six months ago, and I've been in love with it ever since. Reading the summary, I thought, "Well, it might be a little cliche, but I'll buy it. Why not?" I was pleasantly surprised. No, I was ecstatic.

It undoubtedly has overused themes in it, such as the fact that it is a high school story, and it involves angsty teens who cut themselves. However, despite these facts, the story and plot as a whole really doesn't have ... a cliche feel to it at all, at least not to me. It's such a fresh experience. The characters are alive, and have developed personalities despite the fact that the manga-ka only had one volume to do it in. The story has cliche themes without making the plot truly cliche; it is simple, yet profound. Dark, yet with the ability to be light-hearted at any given moment. You'll be rooting for the characters at every turn, and desperately flipping pages to find out what happens next.

There is no seme, there is no uke; they are just them, and they're perfect together, without either one being too dominant over the other.

You must, must read this; it's worth every minute.

There is one complaint I have about this manga, and one complaint only.

Why is it so short? Why?! I love it so much DX

Despite the fact that there are two short chapters that make up this manga, Shinobu and Nishino are characterized better than many I have seen in manga with multiple volumes. I'm impressed with this. It took me five to ten minutes to read, and it still had such an impact.

Kokoro Kikan is definitely worth the read. It'll leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside ^_^

Hmm, there are no reviews for this manga. Oh well, I guess that will fall to me =). Although I am but one opinion, I will express it to my best ability ^_^

Where to start? Well, when I saw this recommended with Pathos (which I loved), I decided I just had to read it. There isn't much vampire yaoi, and though it is short, I wanted to give it a chance. I've read some excellent, one volume manga. For all I knew, this could be one.

However, I was disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I didn't hate it. I didn't even dislike it really, but it ... wasn't anything to scream and jump over, at least in my opinion. (Although, the last scenes are really sweet, I'll admit.)

The art was all right, but largely unimpressive. Sometimes I get the sense that the manga-ka wasn't quite sure how to draw certain expressions, and that's a problem. If someone is screaming in agony, their face should not be so lacking in detail. I'm no artist, but it seemed amateurish to me.

I am however, a writer, and I can safely say that the story is pretty cliche, especially in the beginning. The whole, "I found a small child and took him home with me," scenario has been used way too many times.

And, come on. So predictable.

Me: "Oh look, they're together now. The next chapters will be some half-baked attempt to throw some turmoil in their relationship."

Next chapter: "So I met this girl at the library, right? You should meet her."

*headdesk* Not in those words, but you get the picture.

There is virtually no character development. We have no idea about their lives in the past, and we have virtually no personality traits to go off of. It just isn't elaborated on. Ever.

The storyline itself was also lacking; it really was rather rushed. Although this manga was short, it easily could have been a better experience if more effort was spent on it. For example: 24 Colors: Haksukoi no Palette. It is not a Yaoi manga, but it is a heart-warming romance, also a volume long. The story was short and sweet, but the experience was much more satisfying in all areas, and 24 Colors was two chapters shorter than this one.

That being said, I'm really not sure if I liked Sute Neko no Ie or not. I almost did. Kind of. I certainly didn't love it though, and it could have been so much more than it is if there was more effort put into it. It's worth the read if you're bored, a fan of Vampires/Yaoi, or both, but it's not an, "OMG read this or die!" sort of urgency. Take or leave this one: it's your choice.

Ah, I love this anime. It's so bad it's good. I think that's the best way to describe it.

If you're new to yaoi, I would suggest watching more titles before giving this a try, but for the tried and true, it's perfect. This little oneshot is one gigantic gay joke after another. It deliberately takes a jab at stereotypical yaoi anime by making fun of it at every turn. It's shallow, it's sickeningly predictable, and it's absolutely hilarious because of it. You'll understand if you watch it (which you should).

This one is well worth watching.

Wow. It took me a grand total of three minutes to hate this show. I’m not exaggerating in the least. I had to practically pull my hair out in order to force myself to watch all of it. The seme is a stalker, the uke is an idiot, the plot is horrible, and everything is delightfully cliché (please note the sarcasm).

The music sounds like something off of a porno. The art is bland, and the characters look like blocks. Even the fan service sucks, if you can call it that...There is nothing sexy about it at all. Nothing. Don't believe me? Watch the first five ... minutes. If you like putting yourself through hell, that is.

Unless you want to see for yourself how awful this anime is, don't bother watching this. It's not even good if you like mindless smut, because there is none. It's just mindless.

I hate this show...argh, I hate it even more than Level C, and I never thought I would say that. Ever.

I went into this with an open mind, and I tried not to get my expectations too high. After all, there are very, very few yaoi anime that I can consider a masterpiece(even considering the fact that this is recommended with Ai no Kusabi), and I didn't want to be unfair in my judgment. That being said, on to the rest of the review.

This anime was by no means terrible; at least, in my opinion, but neither was it great. The story is unique enough, especially for the yaoi genre, but didn't quite deliver the way it should have. I think the thing that hurts ... it the most is the fact that it's so short. If there had been more time devoted to Jonathan and Leonard's relationship, the ending would have had much more impact.

I found it slightly predictable as well. Maybe it's just me, but I could see the end coming five minutes into this anime. Kind of disappointing.

The music was decent, the art was decent, the characters were decent, as was the story, but that is all this is. It wasn't nearly as inspiring as the creator was going for, I'm sure.

This is certainly not Ai no Kusabi or Winter Cicada, but nevertheless, I think this is worth watching anyway, if you're bored enough. I have seen much worse. Although, keep in mind that there are very strong themes and imagery in it, such as rape, etc., etc.

If you're looking to watch something deep and inspiring, this doesn't quite cut it. I would suggest watching Ai no Kusabi and Fuyu no Semi(Winter Cicada) if that's what you're looking for.

I hated this one. Really, I did. It is probably the most shallow yaoi I've seen in my life. No, scratch that. It is the most shallow yaoi I've ever seen in my life.

If you are just looking for mindless smut, and some sexy action, than this is the anime for you. If you are expecting any semblance of story and depth at all, you will be greatly disappointed. What plot they did make an attempt to create was thin and extremely predictable; I could see everything that happened coming from a mile away.

Even the music is lame. It makes it sound like some cheep ... porno. Well, I suppose that's exactly what this is.

Short, uninteresting, with the stereotypical seme/uke relationship, I would advise you to pass this one up altogether. It's just not worth it.
