I think you should read Blame! It is a very entertaining manga that has very little dialogue and the art is "something else". It reminds me a little of Tenshi no Tamago and I think that's all you should know, talking about what the story is about would ruin your experience with that manga. I don't usually read light novels... I think they are a very large investment of my time, it is like that you should be really sure to spend so much time reading a light novel. I would surely read a couple of chapters and get bored.

Maybe you like "Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria". I still don't finish it, I just get bored of reading and then I don't remember where I stayed, so I read it all again. I just don't care enough to finish something ... maybe someday, somehow.

Visiting Japan would be interesting when an event takes place, such as the Comiket. After all, what would one go to Japan? to see imperial castles and women in kimono? It may be ... but who we want to fool! The most interesting thing should be the multiple anime stores and various events related to that sub culture of anime. The mere idea of going to a Maid cafe is interesting, but I'm not interested in being in a place where I can't get where things get interesting, if you know what I mean. I suppose that as a tourist attraction there must be several places in Japan that are worth seeing, but in the bizarre and forbidden must be where the fun begins. Just imagine going to one of those extravagant love hotels with a beautiful Japanese girl you met in one of those rare bars worthy of Japanese culture. That would be an interesting story that could only take place in Japan. After all, the Japanese have several places full of weird people ... in the good sense of the word.

I think you're right, imagine going to a place so full of people like Japan and also full of foreigners for the Olympics ... I don't think it's going to be fun to go to a place where you have to push through to go to the talking bathroom. Travel to Japan when the Comiket begins and live the experience of being surrounded by smelly otakus... AND REAL ANIME GIRL CATS... I mean... Cosplay girls... buuuuuuuuuuu.

It's my favorite fetish... eh I mean it's my favorite colour! But my imaginary waifus of cotton candy hair can not know it. (Utena and Watashi)

For some reason I always end up liking white-haired characters. They are always a bit fucked in the head... in a good way. But I have to admit that most of the characters that I like tend to have black hair because you know, they usually have that magic touch of an Asian woman that I can not resist. Like Shinobu Wakamiya. Short black hair, skin paler than snow and bangs, I can not resist I JUST CAN!

I see you finished Punpun! I'm sure you will not read something similar in a long time. I have my problems with some things in the story but I would be lying if I say that I do not think about that manga once in a while. My favorite character is God, that guy with the Afro. he's just so comical in such an absurd and simple way. ITS A GIANT FLYING HEAD FOR GOD SAKE.

I guess punpun is going to be that manga that inspires you to read more manga. Maybe you should give some opportunity to visual novels, there are some interesting ones.

Hello fam, greetings from a random stranger.

Hey, look at the bright side, now you can watch the Digibro's video where he destroys Shinsekai yori and the fans go all crazy. I do not think Re: Zero will be to your liking, it's too childish and a little bit stupid to be honest.

I'll give Bergson a read, he looks pretty interesting. And Perfect Blue is not only my favourite Kon work but one of my favourite films of all time. I haven't seen a film which blurs reality as well as PB does. I wouldn't even call it a horror, but it's still the most disorientating film I've seen.

My favourite philosopher is probably David Hume. I haven't read much of his work yet, but from what I have read he's the person I tend to agree with the most. He's also so influential (especially his problem of induction). I also really love Soren Kierkegaard (probably the most quotable philosopher I've ever read).

And I really enjoyed Belladonna. I love its colourful, psychedelic art style, and I think the way it relates to the French revolution at the end is really clever.

Well, taking your taste in consideration, I would recommend you to watch these anime:

- Ookami to Koushinryou
- Houseki no Kuni
- Uchouten Kazoku (Based on a novel by the author of The Tatami Galaxy)
- Mahou Shoujo Madoka ★ Magica
- Shinsekai yori
- Flip Flappers
- Shirobako
- Tsuritama

These last 5 can be a bit difficult to recommend, you know? Either you love them or you hate them. They may not be to your liking.

- Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru.
- Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui!
- Hyouka
- NHK ni Youkoso!
- Fate / Zero

Good to know that you liked Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita and Kuuchuu Buranko. I would recommend to you the Visual novel Umineko but it lasts more than 100 hours and it may not be to your liking. I would recommend that you read Oyasumi Punpun, If you liked Evangelion, Mononoke and Monogatari it is more than evident that you will like it. It's probably going to be your favorite manga of all the timeeeee.

Hello again my old friend lol

Hello random person, Do yourself a favor and watch Kuuchuu Buranko and Ping pong the animation. I found you thanks to the movie Chika Gentou Gekiga: Shoujo Tsubaki it's rare that anyone can appreciate that movie. These idiots only think that it is a movie full of pain just to impress the viewer when in reality it is the opposite, it is so pure that it makes you think and love the small details of the various symbolisms of the story. I am intrigued with your list, it seems that you only see some kind of things. My other recommendations would be Harmony, Kikumana and Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita. I recommend these anime to you because I really think that you will like them and thanks to your list I found a couple of things that are intriguing, consider it an exchange of knowledge.
