I heard this was a time travel anime and read some very promising reviews.
But boy was I disappointed.
The dialogue in this anime is among the worst most boring I've seen. It's mostly made up of other characters name repeated over and over (I counted 5 times in a row at some point) or just repeat of what the previous character just said.
The voice actors are good though, it's WHAT they say and not HOW they say it that's lacking.
The story is quite jumpy, especially the first 3/4 of the anime. Going between intense fighting and calm everyday life. It's not a story which builds up ... slowly and steadily, rather it creates drama, which a few episodes later is reset back to where it started, much like the feeling of pointlessness you feel in fillers.
But the concept is good, time travel is not possible, but there are infinite dimensions where each dimension is one possible outcome. It takes up concepts such as Schrödinger's cat where someone can be alive and dead at the same time.
Also, these dimensions are not always aligned in time, this is what allows a kind of time travel. Though you cannot affect your past because it's in another dimension.
The music is good and dramatic, but get's a bit worn out after 24 episodes.
Likewise the battle scenes are very dramatic and greatly animated. But there is little to no meaning to the fights storywise.
The characters are quite boring and very mainstream. But a big plus is the female lead character and good mix of genders. I'm very tired of all the 90% guys-animes out there. But hey, whoever designed these characters, there is a limit to how much one person can change in 9 years... Both appearance and personality.
Watch it if you like fantasy out of this world animes. If you're looking for the time travel concept anime this may not be what you're looking for.

The pace is very slow and relaxing. Mushi, which in any other anime would be something which the main character has to defeat, are in this anime a part of nature, something which you can't fight against. Similar to weather, natural disasters and mosquitoes it's something we have to adapt to and learn to live with. In this anime we meet both people who learns to adapt and those who don't. Some episodes have happy endings and others have sad ones.
Each episodes have a connection to real life problems, in this anime they take the form of Mushi, but if you think one step longer ... you can see it's about things like Alzheimer, loosing dear ones, dysfunctional senses and so on.

Although there is a main character he don't take up much space. There is no character development on his part during the series. The focus is on the people he meets, he helps them grow and make decisions. He tries to lead them the right way, though he is not always successful.

The sceneries in this anime is just amazing, it's rural cities in the mountains and by the sea. The people live in small houses with open fireplaces. You can see that the author know a lot about old Japanese culture. There is a lot of interesting old gear and tools with much detail.

The music and sounds fit perfectly to the anime it's quiet and calm, perfect to watch before going to bed and then reflect upon until you fall asleep.

This anime felt like a total copy paste of other animes. It's loaded with cliché scenes and characters. Lots of unnecessary fan-service. The protagonist is your typical 14 y school boy. He meets a mysterious girl with an IQ below 80 talking about herself and others in 3rd person. Turns out he has super powers and have to take on evil guys. All the characters in the anime are exaggerated and acting very unnatural. I'm surprised this anime has an average rating above 7.
The fighting scenes are good though and there's a cool female guard-something girl.
The story has a dramatic start with lots of potential, ... but already at the second episode it's slowing down and getting kind of silly until about the 8th episode where it picks up again but then falls flat with the ending.

Maybe I started watching it with too high expectations but it really didn't hit me as interesting or fun.

The characters are just typical anime characters, they don't really have any uniqueness at all. You have the carefree guy, a brainless girl that likes the guy, a jealous cousin. The popular guy that isn't interested in girls.

At first the story seemed appealing but after the first episode the story didn't really evolve at all untill the last 3 episodes. The only reason I give it a 6 and not a 4-5 in story is that the main plot about how the life needs to be erased ... now and then was pretty interesting.

For anyone watching this anime:
Watch the 3 first episodes then if you don't like it skip ahead to episode 10, you won't really misss anything important storywise.
