I'm the exact same. I buy books and then can't find the time to read them all. My manga reading is up to date though, well, on the books I own personally.
No no it's fine. I'm a bit judgmental when it comes to DGM, I really am. It's perfect for me as an anime/manga/idea, but it might not be for someone else.
Wolf's Rain was one of the first animes I watched other than the ones on telly; Shaman King, Yugiho, Digimon, Pokemon, etc. I have it on dvd now.
And yes, I'm currently collecting the DGM manga, I have 14 vols. It is so good, and although the anime does follow the manga, there are a lot of fillers not even in the manga. Amazingly, the anime adaption was perfectly done I didn't even notice. But, the first 50 odd episodes are summed up in like 5 vols of manga... So, if you want a lot more story, I really would say read the manga.
And Deadman Wonderland is on my list to read. I already know it's gonna be good. The anime was brilliant and, as always, the manga is better. I have heard it's very good.
Well, Wolf's Rain was a 7 since the story is unique and sad. Both of those qualities are my favourite. It would of got higher if it had more... Was well more. XD
