When it comes to isekai light novels there's the good, the mediocre, and the downright bad. While these tiers can apply to all media, isekai light novels seem to almost always perfectly fit into one of these categories. When talking about flavor, you generally think of food and how it tastes. But this concept can also be applied to forms of art, or in this case, manga. Jimi Na Kensei is severely lacking in this regard. Actually, let me rephrase that; Jimi Na Kensei... has comparable flavor to a soggy saltine cracker. The characters are so one dimensional it hurts, the story is laughably bad, and the art is just...ok? Jimi Na Kensei... simply lacks any flavor; it’s extremely bland, boring, and uninteresting. Even for lovers of fantasy and isekai-like manga, I urge you to avoid this. It’s just a waste of time.

I'll try to keep this quick; I have no idea why I decided to watch Knights & Magic. It's below 7.5 (my usual score margin for shows), it's got mechs (which I tend to avoid), and it looked awful. Is this a good manga? No. No, it is not. While not terrible, it offers NOTHING that you haven't seen somewhere else. If you've read enough manga, you know what I'm talking about when I say Shounen copy & paste. Or maybe that's just me, I dunno. If there was a Shounen manga formula, I wouldn't be surprised. So much Shounen manga is so unoriginal and boring and lacks any form of originality. It's like the author comes up with an interesting idea, then puts the idea into the most boring and unoriginal template and bam, shitty shounen manga. Pochi Kuro is included in this.

I don't get the hype behind Quanzhi Fashi. I have heard several people label it as "an amazing anime" and I begrudgingly watched it (not a huge fan of manhua). Oh and let down I was indeed. I'm going to be frank, I hate isekai manga. Well...not really. For those of you who don't know, isekai is a subgenre of anime that basically means the protagonist is reborn in a new world. An epic. A long poem that chronicles the events and deeds of legendary heroes. There are few in anime and manga that truly meet this description. Survival is one of the few manga I have read that, I think, hits that bar. But why? And how? I don't think I can give an answer to either. Wotaku Ni Koi Wa Muzukashii was a minor letdown for me. I was mildly interested in the concept and decided to give it a try. In the first few chapters, I found the characters to be quite entertaining and mildly interesting at worst, so I thought I had found a new read. Origin is not a very good manga. The characters are not very well developed (or maybe that's due to there only being 38 chapters) except for maybe Origin. The story itself isn't amazing either, often only reaching mediocre, and is mostly cheese. The art is good, but nothing exceptional. So why do I rate this series a 7?
Because I found it to be an extremely fun read While Origin lacks in story and characters, it makes up somewhat with the action. The action is on a level I haven't experienced much in the world of manga. "Turning pages" ruins the flow for me, but not ...

Alderamin of the Sky (Manga) was somewhat of a disappointment for me. I started reading it after watching the anime, and I was expecting the manga to be better. To my surprise, I found it to be worse. The anime was far more fleshed out with the story and the characters, along with extra content that the manga needed.
