My bad, I've been busy lately xD. That sucks that it got that bad for you. I stop immediately after I feel a little dizzy. The only motion sickness medicine I take is Dramamine, but that's for long car rides/planes. Perhaps it works with anime and games? I've noticed that when I take it, I don't get dizzy at all. But perhaps that's because I don't focus much in the car, I don't think it'll work when it comes to anime.

I searched "motion sickness medicine for video games" and they said just stop playing those games jeez LOL.

And yeah, I was pretty disappointed by that

It was the first time I had motion sickness from an anime. I think it's because I focus on particular frames and scenes a lot and then all of a sudden, it quickly moves to another frame. For video games, I've had it with shooting games and Minecraft because you have to move your screen so often. I'll have to try Bakemonogatari again though xD. I'll say screw it and take some motion sickness medicine and I'll be ight.

It's a shame Tower of God is only 13 episodes though. I was kinda hoping for 25+ eps

She may have some kind of mental disorder.

I dislike filler in between episodes. I feel like it ruins the pace of things. Filler is not preferred overall, but it should be done right after arcs and be an arc of its own. Since we were on the topic of One Piece, I think the Navarone/G-8 arc would be a good example. It fit well with the flow of One Piece right after Skypiea and was pretty interesting as well.

Yeah, Tatami Galaxy is done in an artistic way and actually portrays the idea well, but I guess it didn't pull me in as much. I also really wanted to get into the Monogatari series because I heard it has good romance in some parts. This may sound absolutely ridiculous, but I get headaches and dizziness from watching it because of the animation. I have motion sickness and digital motion sickness LOL.

I don't know exactly, but I heard it is because of the coronavirus. Perhaps, they want to be safe and keep the staff healthy. But yeah, Oregairu has A LOT of delays. I remember they delayed the last volumes for 2 years almost and it's been 5 years since season 2 and we're getting another delay for a few months xD. Tower of God may be the only anime I watch from this season. It's a good thing that we don't know much. Hopefully, there's a lot of worldbuilding and cool characters.

Yes, that's one of the things I hate the most. Clear repetition. Like getting lost or being trapped in an area and the MC spends a couple of episodes walking back and forth. Or when the anime is literally repeating the same thing. Have you ever watched Tatami Galaxy? Every episode is fundamentally the same as the other and has the same dialogue, but the circumstances are slightly different. I felt like I was going insane watching it.

I haven't started this season yet. I heard Tower of God is very good though. It's just a shame that they cancelled OreGairu, the main anime I was looking forward to, 3 days prior to its release.

Ah, I see. The current arc of One Piece is entertaining, but the Whole Cake Island arc in the ANIME is pretty bad if I'm being honest. It's 100 eps and 20ish eps are for Luffy's fight. Another 30ish eps, Luffy is trapped in a forest and spends so long trying to fight weak members of Big Mom's crew. It was pretty frustrating to watch, so I kinda just read the manga from there xD. I really didn't like Whole Cake, but Katakuri was a good character.

K-project does it later on in the series. I forgot if it was halfway or in season 2, but yeah I have no idea. It was pretty misplaced.

Hating the war is probably the most controversial One Piece opinion I've heard LOL because it's usually said to be the best One Piece arc and sometimes best shounen arc in general. Probably because most shounen fans watch for fights and hyped up moments xD. I personally think Ace died for a stupid reason and the Admirals could've wiped Luffy in a second. And I like Dressrosa, but it's really dragged out and doesn't really have outstanding animation in the anime.

Yeah Code Geass doesn't have that much fanservice in comparison to other shows. I hate the fanservice where they use special animation for it LMAO. I remember in K-project when they included a special transformation scene for a side character only for fanservice and repeated that transformation several times.
shadowblaster5 Apr 9, 2020 7:38 PM
I actually like how long One Piece is, if we disregard the dragged out scenes ofc. It really shows the adventure in depth and there are a lot of crew scenes. That's why I really liked pre-timeskip One Piece. Nowadays, I just read the manga because the anime is too long and slow haha.

I've watched all of the very popular shoujo anime like Maid Sama, OHSHC, Special A, My Little Monster, etc. Most of them are romcoms, but it does get a little tiring because they're so similar. I kinda want one with good chemistry without the blushy and bubbly scenes.

Ecchi and mecha lowkey go hand in hand most of the times xD. Like Code Geass and Darling in the Franxx, you'll just see a random fanservice scenes out of nowhere. For mecha, I feel like superpowers is a better alternative. And ecchi, I think it takes away too much from characters. Sometimes, characters are simply used for fanservice that their character barely progresses.

I like Bleach's concept tho ( along with most shounen ), but yeah it takes a while for Ichigo to finally prove himself. For Naruto, it may be easier if I simply just skipped the filler like you do with Bleach. I usually watch all the filler unknowingly, so the plot felt slow. And yeah, I can't watch long shounen as easily as I did anymore. I'm surprised I'm even somewhat close to caught up with One Piece, even if it's my favorite anime,

It's a shame xD. In my case, most people around me are simply casual watchers. Like they've finished like 10-50 or less anime, most being popular titles like Attack on Titan and Haikyuu, but they wouldn't watch something like Major or Bakuman.
shadowblaster5 Apr 4, 2020 12:35 PM
I wanted to watch Bleach for the same reason. but I've watched 100 eps of it like 8 years ago. I may rewatch it soon though since I have a lot of time. I also want to finish Naruto because I enjoyed its plot line even though I dropped it because it was too slow. At this point, I think I've rewatched Naruto like 2-3 times and dropped it in Shippuuden after he learns Rasenshuriken.
And yeah that's the best part of watching a lot of anime. A lot of people don't take you seriously when you recommend the hidden gem to them though xD, for reasons like art, lack of popularity, and not really standing out. But there was one time where the anime I recommended quickly became a friend's 2nd favorite anime and yeah it was pretty satisfying.
