...then you might like Shuumatsu no Izetta add

Both shows are based on the Second World War and mirror the tale of a single country's struggle to resist a powerful invader (i.e. France/Luxembourg vs. Germany). Both place significant emphasis on the military aspect of their stories, and both include a magical/supernatural element that greatly affects the tide of the war. Note that while Shuumatsu no Izetta is decidedly blatant in the parallels it draws, Senjou no Valkyria is much looser with its comparisons, with far less stress placed on historicity. Another major difference is in how Shuumatuso no Izetta follows the life of a princess, while Valkyria tells its story through the perspectives of a militia squad.
