Absolute masterpiece man, just about everything you'd want in a Isekai but refined to be just perfect.
I value worldbuilding above all in any entertainment medium I consume and this so far has been checking those boxes off quite nicely.
Not sure if it was intentional or not but every time the party enters a new town instead of having a generic OP play at the start of each episode we are instead treated to a unique and pleasant song while being shown the new environment which gives me some serious game vibes of arriving in a new town and having the sights and sounds change as

I never write reviews but I just had to say something. This show feels seriously underrated right now and it's honestly such a special and enjoyable little series that it needs more attention.
If you enjoy stuff like Made in Abyss, Magus Bride or enjoy anime with good heartwarming parenting themes this is definitely something you should check out. I've only seen 4 episodes so far so I can't say much but if the quality stays the same throughout this is easily anime of the season material. Art and music wise so far has been great as well, there's a lot of variation with the character designs ... |
