Hey ho.

So you're watching Gintama that's great.

Well let me give you an advice.
Just for the information.

The first Episodes and the following first Episodes can be quite average.
I know that it can be for many people. So maybe for you as well.

But it will improve a lot afterwards.
So I hope you will keep on watching Gintama.

Ah yes, sounds exactly like what I'm into xD I like stories that don't try to censor themselves since real life isn't censored after all.

Sorry this reply is so late xD I've been on a bit of a hiatus over the summer basically because of the heat and I've been abroad so I'm gonna try and pick up on replying again at this point ^-^

Yeah, the director of the second season even openly apologised for how it turned as ppl were so angry. Imagine watching that when it was airing never knowing when they'd actually get a proper episode?? Scary thought.
I see Berserk is on your favourite mangas. How exactly is it so good and the #1 manga? Not that I doubt it, I haven't even read it, but I'm curious whether it'll appeal to me and whether I should buy it. Usually I make a judgement over anime adaptations but Berserk was very unfortunate when it came to getting an anime adaptation since all 3 seasons of them look pretty terrible. I've only seen the first one and it was pretty good but the budget was low and it showed.

Oh you mean the Endless Eight? I disliked the second season too but the one that slots in as episode eight in the middle of the first season is really important for watching the movie. I loved the movie. It was something so simple that branched out to be complicated and mysterious - very captivated and it completely deprived me of sleep the day after xD

I'm the opposite, I'm gradually getting more into airing anime. The feeling that you have to wait a week and then realizing a week is over already just feels so good xD the high is exceptional.
Did you watch the second season to Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu?

Thanks :)

Yeah, most shows nowadays are full of cliches so I am very picky when it comes to watching seasonal anime even though I've only just got into watching it.
You've dropped quite a few animes, are you someone who finds it difficult to get into a series?
I always find that older animes are really difficult to get into for me even if they're well-known for being great shows like Cowboy Bebop or Neon Genesis Evangelion. It might be the style as very beautiful animes I tend to finish quite quickly and the 1900s style is usually less aesthetically pleasing since those animes were made on tighter budgets.

It's quite an interesting anime in how it's both light-hearted and slightly dark. Personally I could relate to it greatly since I'm always wishing for a more interesting reality where I'll never be bored again like I am currently in life and so the film really did make me empathise with Kyon as he was making his decision between a perfect and undisturbed normal school life and a difficult but unpredictable reality with Haruhi being powerful and aliens, time-travellers and espers. I guess it was a sort of envy that I felt whilst watching it. I like animes that take a subject you'd think would make a fairly average and easy to write and watch anime and put in lots of elements that throw you off balance. I suspect very few people would glance at the melancholy of hauhi suzumiya and know there's a lot of it about data and time travelling in the plot. The most important thing in an anime for me is whether it can successfully entertain me or not ^-^ the quality of the plot and so on comes second after that factor.
