It is a rollercoaster. Wholeheartedly did not expect one of the main characters to be killed off so fast. That instantly made me love it even more. It's getting even better now too since the MC finally got over his slump.
One thing i noticed is that the female general had a similar looking mecha that looked like Jenketsu from Kill la Kill.
No problems! I haven't been able to watch it either sadly. I've been falling behind on my anime contracts due to new games and such coming out. I'm a terrible weeb.
Yea I wouldn't have minded seeing the father develop a bit but I didn't see it as much of a negative since the movie wasn't really about her father's relationship with his daughter. It was just there to make problems for the daughter when she sought his help.
Also, I didn't really think of it as a time travel movie. I'm not sure how to explain it but it didn't really involve time travel directly. They were able to talk to each other through dreams is the way I saw it.
And I didn't have to download it. Someone linked me to website that had a 720p version. I'll end up buying it when it comes out on BluRay. I wasn't going to watch that in just 480p. That wouldn't do it justice. 720 was good enough to watch, but 1080 is where it would be at to truly enjoy it
Holy cow a 5?! I was originally going in with the thought it was going to be a RomCom type movie and that it would be good but not amazing. I was very surprised at the pacing in the beginning and started wondering what the rest of the movie was going to be about. When the twist was revealed it really took me by surprise. I had no idea that it would have been that big. So that was a big reason I gave it a 10. At that point I was going to rate it an 8. But the rest of the story was well done. The pacing of it was great, I never felt like it was lingering or going too fast. The ending was going to be what determined it an 8 or a 10. I'm very happy with how it turned out. I really enjoyed the visuals, the music was great, and of course the animation looked amazing. It didn't feel too cliche either. Other than a couple parts towards the end. Overall the story was pretty good and unique, the music felt fitting, voice acting felt believable, and like I said before about the animation and visuals were fantastic.
That scene had me in tears. Probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen in anime in a long time. I'd expect nothing less from Konosuba though. I'm looking forward to the next episode already. Also extremely excited for Interview with monster girls.
Tsuki- It is very important to the story because Koyomi goes through some serious problems about himself that he needs to figure out. It's not an amazing series, but it's only 4 episodes so I'd say its worth the watch. Especially the first episode. It's got a great funny part.
Owari- This one is pretty great overall and deals with Koyomi's past. Past before the Kizu movies. Like his middle school life and an event in this first year of High School that never got resolved. The arcs were fantastic and one was a lot more twisted than I expected it to be. It's awesome.
Koyomi- You can watch this one whenver. They are short episodes (13 mins). It's tough to find online. Probably have to sail the seven seas to get them. The first 10 episodes are just side stories and aren't crazy important but are still a decent watch. HOWEVER, the last two episodes are HUGE and need to be seen. They are important and they are great. The twist is a mind fuck and I can't wait to find out what happens. This is the last of the broadcasts currently.
Kizu Movies- These movies are amazing. I mean they are absolutely stunning to watch. You see Koyomi in a new light. He wasn't so brave all the time. Shinobu's opening scene also brings a new light to her. It gave me chills. The first movie soul purpose is to set up the 2nd movie so not terribly a lot happens. The 2nd one is where all the action and drama happens. If you're a fan of Hanekawa, then you'll love her in the movies. Koyomi's development in the 2nd movie is fantastic too. The animation is what stuck out the most. It's beautiful throughout the entire movie.
Overall, I'd say watch them if you like the story that's going on. It won't be as amazing as Second Season but it's still a fantastic watch. Which, to me, is surprising. Series like this that keep going on usually lose momentum or the story gets convoluted, but this doesn't. It keeps delivering all the time. Arcs are still great and characters are even better.
I believe that would include Tsuki and Owari correct? Also Koyomimonogatari too. Are those the ones that you're referring to? I ask because Hana is actually the last one chronologically. I can't remember the broadcast order.
You have no idea how stoked I am to Season 2. I watched season 1 again a week ago in preparation for this new season. I have a feeling that we won't be disappointed by this new season at all.
I'm extremely happy that I have tomorrow off from work so I can watch it as soon as it's released.

Why did you rate it a 5?
