Story:
Sora and Haruka Kasugano are a pair of twins who are forced to move to their empty grandparent's house out in the country when their parents die. Episode 1 is introductory while the remaining episodes are comprised of 2-3 episode "route's" of the 4 main girls, which always start at a specific spot in the anime, resetting what happened with the previous girl. I felt that the first 9 episodes were an absolute drag to watch, because the first 3 girls are completely generic and uninteresting in every way, and their routes are full of cliches and unintelligent plot devices. This anime would have been
...
best if it had concentrated solely on Haruka and Sora's relationship, which is done in episodes 10-12, the only episodes in the anime that are enjoyable and engaging to watch. The anime does have incest in it, as well as sex scenes with each girl, and both are done fairly realistically. Haruka does face moral dilemma in his relationship with Sora, and his hesitance throughout the whole anime seemed quite realistic and well-done. One scene I really liked was the end of episode 9 or 10, where Haruka cracks open the door to Sora's room and sees something rather unexpected inside. I felt his reaction to that was done very well, and I could practically feel his emotions as he watched what Sora was doing. The rest of the series after that is just as engaging to watch, and the conclusion is satisfying, though I felt a bit more insight into their future could have been shown.
Characters:
The series comprises of Haruka, the male lead, 4 main girls (an energetic shrine maiden, a serious and over-worrying rich girl, a glasses girl, and Haruka's twin sister Sora), and one or two unimportant minor character classmates. The first 3 girls are truly generic and not much can be said about them other than what I typed in parenthesis. Haruka is the typical overly-nice protagonist, but his struggles with Sora are very realistic and enjoyable to watch. Sora, for most of the anime, is a lazy hikikomori who relies on Haruka, and gets very jealous whenever he's with another girl. Some may find her to be too much like a dependent child, but I personally found her to be a sympathetic and enjoyable character whose jealousy is completely natural.
Art & Music:
The art is very well done, and the backgrounds are gorgeous. Characters are drawn nicely, too - even the generic girls are nice to look at if nothing else. The music is quite mesmerizing, as well.. I found a few of the most-played background music pieces playing in my head while I wasn't watching the series. They both come together to create a perfect atmosphere for the final three episodes, while being wasted on the first 3 girls' routes.
Overall:
Being a fan of "forbidden relationships," I watched this series for the twincest, and it delivered, albeit taking 9 episodes to get there. My final rating is a 6, because the first 3 route's are truly a bore to watch, though the final 3 episodes are worth an 8 or 9 alone.

Overview:
I'll start this review first by saying that normally, I love comedy. I usually enjoy watching anime series like this, that don't really have a plot and are just parody/comedy and that's it. After watching the first episode (There's 4 eps, not 8), I just can't watch any more for at least a very, very long time. It is HORRIBLE, even for a comedy anime. But I do respect it for one thing. This anime manages to do something no other anime can do. It manages to be SO BAD, that it makes ALL other anime seem amazing. This must truly be the worst anime
...
that was ever made in order for it to accomplish this. During the whole episode I watched, I kept thinking how great those boring, slice-of-life shows like Lucky Star are compared to the sh*t I was currently watching. Oh, and by the way, blood is supposed to go DOWN not up. It's called gravity.
Story:
The story is interesting enough. The problem is, they do nothing with it. Instead of what it says on the summary, the story ends up being Dokuro-chan killing Sakura every 5 seconds for some dumb reason, then reviving him. That COULD be funny, but it gets old and loses any possible humor since it's repeated so often. Basically, there is no story.
Art:
Most of the time it's cute. Then the characters get all deformed and it isn't funny like it's meant to be - it's just outright disturbing. Maybe not quite enough to cause nightmares, but just horrible to look at.
Sound:
The OP theme is cute, as long as you don't read the translation. Everything else is mediocre.
Character:
Lolwhat? Characters? Oh yeah, that. Dokuro-chan is like Louise from ZnT or Shana from SnS to the extreme x10000000. She likes chopping peoples heads off with her bat. That's all there is to know about her. Sakura seems like the "self-insert" character, having no personality and all, but who the f*ck would want to be him? Oh, and there's this girl who Sakura has a crush on. That's all. Oh, there's a monkey too.
Enjoyment:
If you enjoy this show, you must be a sadist.
Overall:
If you end up on some deserted island somewhere and the only thing you have is this anime series, don't watch it. Because staring at a wall is more fun and less disturbing than watching this.

First of all, I only finished the series because I BOUGHT the DVD, because I read the first few volumes of the manga and liked it and thought the anime might be good, too. Wow. I was wrong. VERY wrong. The best thing about this anime is the opening song. Seriously. Although its only 13 episodes, it's so boring and uninteresting it seems to drag on and on and on. I had to force myself pretty hard to finish watching it - just so the money I spent wouldent go to waste.
Story: 5. It's very ordinary. Nothing I havent seen before.
Art: 3. Below-average.
Sound: 7. Like
...
I said - the opening was the best part.
Character: 5. Characters are very typical, cliche.
Enjoyment: 2. Booooooooooooring.

Like most people, when I watched the first episode of Shugo Chara Party, I was a bit dissapointed. The actual anime was only 11 minutes long! And it didnt follow the manga like I thought it would. And then I started to view the series as seperate from the manga, and then it was really good so I'm going to write this review as Shugo Chara Party being completely seperate from the manga.
The live action segments are...horribly CHEESY and childish with some bad acting, but thank god they're only 1 minute long.
The Pucchi Puchi is too cute NOT to like, and can be very funny
...
at times.
The anime part is great. I might be the only one, but I really like the new character. Bubbly anime girls are cool :D. And she's friends with X eggs. Even more cool. (and badass) Although the anime part is just 11 minutes long, the story doesen't seem rushed at all.
Overall, watching this anime is like a Party (I understand how they got the title now) and you'll never get bored watching it.
