I've watched this way back before 2001 and it was already dubbed in Filipino to be exact "Tagalog", Philippines national dialect and I really enjoyed it. Without reading the manga (as some say they felt cheated) because it does not clarify the end as a whole on what happened to the MC or to his half brothers as per Manga readers.
All I can say is this. As an anime series it really is spectacular in the sense that it is one of the predecessor of the big 3 that we have today. Which are Naruto, Bleach and FT.

One of my favorite arc for POT... Story: Perfectly done. Although this is just the Semi Finals and an OVA it really compels the story and one of the important match you should not miss, that leads to Fuji's perfection. Score: 7 Art: As good as ever but not perfect. For a sports anime though? It's more than enough... Score: 8 ...

First ever review here and I wanted to start this thing off with SAO. I have read some summaries from the LN and other interesting things about SAO. I have also watched all 14 episodes so far and here are the breakdown of what I have to say about this anime adaptation as of Episode 14 Ending of SAO Arc.
