Actually mean around 20 Episodes. Even tho some people say after 12 Episodes, some say 50 Episodes, and some 20 Episodes. Well I go around with 20-30. Even tho, personally I love everyting in Gintama.
But I hear a lot of people who say around 20-30 Episodes.

Anyway, yeah it is maybe a good choice for you to skip the first 2, since they were a special. Soo for many Newcomers a really bad start.
3 is the real Start and it is better like that. Gintama has such a huge and awesome Cast, and you need to understand them, at least a little to understand the special.

The first Episodes and the following first Episodes can be quite average.
I know that it can be for many people. So maybe for you as well.

But it will improve a lot afterwards.
So I hope you will keep on watching Gintama.

I have a few thousand PMMM images yeah (I run the KyouSaya sub so it comes with the business lol), but not much of it is Homura.

Yeah the first 5 or 6 episodes are pretty slow but the world and atmosphere are all the better for it. There's a very specific thing I'd like to talk about when you finish it (spoiler tho).

Episode 4 was kinda bad (the director actually resigned inshame from backlash) but overall it's incredble. It somehow gets better with every episode.

How much of the show do you know already? Have you been spoiled at all?

Edit: Fate is pretty cool. I'm not really liking any of the characters but the story has me hooked, and that's fine. Art style is very hit or miss.
