Greetings!

It did, however I haven't continued my journey on watching Pokémon. Tried watching Sun & Moon but the art style really did not appeal me whatsoever. Not to mention that Ash went a step back on strategy level. It was quite disappointing for me after seeing X, Y & Z which was imo when of the best seasons.
To answer your question: no I have not, however it would be fun. Maybe one day I could take evening classes. Would also like learning Korean and continue music lessons.
How about you?
And Boruto still hasn't captured my eye to much. Waiting for them to get passed Acad.

Sincerely yours, Azu

It sure has been a while.

That's good to hear, and Boku no Hero is definitely awesome.

I've been good, just busy with work and in the process of looking for something better.

My bad for the late reply...

I'm up to date with the Pokémon episodes yes, sometimes a few days late with watching but hey I'm never more behind than a week when it comes to Pokémon and the Nisekoi manga.

Weeeell.. I did read Naruto online, the anime was getting too long. Same thing for Nisekoi like I just mentioned above. It's just that the anime take too long. I would NEVER be able to read Japanese that is.. unless I take classes, which I doubt I will. Sure, it could be a fun thing to do but I doubt I could make a living out of it.

No need to be ashamed, I recently watched Braceface when I was sick. xD

Youtube's change in direction sorta speak also changed the way content is produced. Nowadays anyone can get paid from ad revenue generated by their videos which back in like 2007-2008 would've been a privilege since you had to become a youtube partner in order for that to happen. Now there is still great content on youtube if you know where to look for it and also preferences are subjective but thing is there are a lot of youtubers who are doing it more for the money rather than the simple joy of doing it. Basically quantity over quality. Since youtube it's their main job and source of income you get most popular youtubers upload daily and depending on what type of vids they upload that could damage the overall quality of their channel. In the older days there was no pressure, people would upload whenever they felt like it or knew that they had something good. Idk this is just my observation but it angers me when I hear how some youtubers say that if they can't get money out of their channels anymore they'd stop uploading for good (even though they wouldn't say it bluntly like that). Also the userbase got worse over the years with 10 year old kids flooding the comment section and being the deciding factor on who gets popular (talking more about the gaming side of youtube).

Yep, MAL's been the same for the most part since I've joined. Don't worry about it lol I've learned about the com-to-com feature like a year after I've joined. It's very useful to track the people whom you haven't responded to yet and also to read the history of the convo for whatever reasons you might have.

So what anime have you enjoyed this year thus far? Like I've said I didn't looked much into it, aside from Erased I can't say that I've watched any anime from this season. I have high hopes for this season of Berserk. I haven't even started to read the manga yet.

I've actually managed to watch a few episode this weekend. I'm at the part where they revived Frieza. I still have nightmares (not really lol) from that arc with Frieza in DBZ. Sure that a lot of people might love it way more than I personally did since they've watched it as a kid but I've watched it like less than 2 years ago and after a while it got dreadful because of how much they stretched the fight. Literally every episode had the same spots on loop with little to no progression being made. It got so boring after a while because they were doing the same thing. But the build up to the fight was fairly good but I felt exhausted watching the fight after a while lol. I still loved DBZ don't get me wrong but that arc felt longer than any other arcs in Dragon Ball.

Nice, good luck with your japanese studies! I'm talking with a friend here who is currently (as far as I know) teaching english to japanese students in japan. When he came to japan he only knew the basics of the language but he managed eventually. I think that he's been there since September or so. I've been good too. Been going through some ups and downs these past few weeks due to some personal problems but I'm learning to cope with them. I'm also somewhat excited for the summer internship because I'm hoping to learn more and also socialize.

Sounds like fun, I still have to watch the latest Pokémon episode.

And that's because I've only read the manga I own. And truth been told, I have a hard time getting into the story.

Yep. They took the bulletins out sometime in May of 2008 if I'm not mistaken. I found bulletins a great way to talk with others and share my videos. Also the streams, they were so much fun. Youtube killed the social part of it and just kept it strictly for "business".

Don't worry, it's all good. You can always click on the "com-to-com" button to see the entire convo history and usually the comment at the top is the latest.

I haven't really watched any anime this year (from these past 2 seasons) aside from Erased but the summer chart looks pretty good. I'm mainly looking forward to Berserk and Orange so far. I'm also going to be busy this summer because I have an internship.

I think I've only read a few chapters from Gantz but never got into it, neither have tried the anime. The concept seemed interesting but I heard that it gets disappointing towards the end and that the ending was kinda meh.

Sadly I'm not keeping up with Dragon Ball too well...I think that I'm 30 episodes behind but I'll try to catch up eventually. I'm at the intermission between arcs atm and it's pretty boring tbh.

How have you been?

I'm doing fine :). How about you?
Nice to meet you!

Omg I'm surprised to see another person who knew about youtube bulletins lol they were the bomb back then because it was so easy to jump into chats and streams *_* And yes, I met a ton of people back then. A lot of emos though but cool people nonetheless. But of course that it was all just a phase in your life, socializing on yotube, which now is unheard of lol. They really killed the social part of youtube with the current profiles. I remember people bashing the beta layout back in 2009, but back then it was still good.

Nice. I'll be looking forward to that 2nd season :) All I've heard about Gantz is that it has some explicit sex scenes and that the ending wasn't considered to be great. I can't confirm any of those since I haven't read the manga. Though the art looks really nice.

I'm surprised to find out that a lot of people are complaining about the pacing. I can understand the complaints about the animation, the animation in ep 4 where Goku fought Beerus for the first time was straight up garbage, like Naruto vs Pain garbage but I don't understand why they bitch about the pacing. I've finished DBZ this year and thus far Dragon Ball Super had a pretty decent pacing for a shonen and more importantly for a Dragon Ball anime. From what I've heard this arc with Beerus is about to end. I'm surprised to hear that since I thought this arc was gonna go for at least 30-50 episodes lol One thing about Dragon Ball super I personally dislike is the voice acting. I'm sorry to say it but english dub all the way. Not bashing the japanese voice actors but imho the english dub is just perfect. The VA for Beerus sounds cool though but I just can't get adjusted to Goku's voice among other characters.

So far I'm only following One Punch Man and "that anime about bones". I'm not the right person to ask about current airing anime since I tend to not follow that many :P

Yeah, I agree. Back in the day I've used to socialize on youtube and I've met a lot of awesome people. But as far as I know the social side of youtube is dead and a lot of the times the comments section is cancerous.

I'm also hoping for a season 2 :P I've enjoyed it waaay more than I thought I would, honestly I thought I was gonna drop it. I loved the comedy, the satire on the generic male/female relationship portrayed in anime and the story surprisingly.

How are you liking Dragon Ball Super btw? And how was Gantz? I once thought about reading it but gave up on that thought.
