EmperorKaido is not my friend, just a randy. Bro, you can watch and enjoy what you want, what annoys me is the people that after creating a MAL profile start trying to be cult and watch anime by his status, for example: giving a low score to a famous anime, watching a lot of OVA to get more Completed Anime and shit like that. I personally wouldn't watch an average 70 episodes show, there are some examples like that in my list, but I watched them long ago when I was a kid.

It's funny how you removed all my comments in your profile, I'm not saying that you can't enjoy an average show, but you gave 5 to the first AoT season and you were saying it was shit, so that's my point, if you gave 5 to Boku no Hero it must be shit in your opinion, but you did watch all the seasons, are you some kind of critic that watches anime to criticize, if you like a cliche shounen there's no shame about it.

I know that rustled a few jimmies on MAL.

Honestly I don't fit in that category, I really disliked the slice of life bullshit in S;G0 the most. The part of this series I appreciated the best is clearly… the soundtracks! That and the kind of unique nonsensical sci-fi feeling you get watching this! I don't know how to describe that part, it's just the general atmosphere associated with the mystery and thrill part I guess.

I did give the anime of S;G0 a seven out of ten and I think that's already maybe too high a rating, but I'll admit how subjective I've been on this matter. You won't find me saying it's a good anime and I probably won't recommend it to anyone either, as much as I was hyped with the visual novel when it was coming out. Yet, even knowing what the VN turned out like -and the epigraph trilogy is what really really made me expectant of this sequel-, I still ended up watching the anime.

Though, I kind of regret. I feel like I should have just rewatched (and unfortunately, I didn't have enough time to play the VN instead) the original series. Or one of the good spin-offs at least, although maybe going through those once was enough already.

your steins gate 0 review was on point; it was dull until the last few episodes. Dragged on way too long than it needed to.

I was glad to finally see some sense spoken in the Steins;Gate 0 review. The anime was a complete flob with very few redeemable qualities. Although I wouldn’t give it as low as a 3, it does not at all do justice to the original Steins;Gate, which is (to me) one of the most masterfully crafted stories anime has to offer.

Great S;G 0 review :)

Nice S;G 0 review :^)

I'm a true S;G fan, I gotta admit I've been getting into nearly all the spin off of the series even though I know they're just trying to milk it. Unlike other things I don't understand how anyone could like so much (i.e. the Fate series which is really just scamming people, or even Naruto), I've really enjoyed everyone of the spin offs of S;G (but not the "original trilogy" because I have disliked Robotics;Note a lot).

I would like to say that nonetheless I think your review is spot on, I laughed at it because I totally agree but I'm still loving S;G0 and I'm currently watching the anime (having played the VN last year).

On a side note, have you read the Epigraph "trilogy" (it stopped at the second part because of hiatus / cancellation) mangas? It is where the plot from S;G0 comes from I believe, not the other way around, and it is much better in my opinion (it's also the reason I was actually hyped for S;G0 because I thought it's genuinely good). It didn't go very far but I liked the focus on Okabe's involvement with Maho and all rather than slice of life, also although it stops at the point where the laptop gets destroyed, it doesn't have any time shift (the anime has two by that point), none of the Kurisu coming back, etc.

I appreciate the kind words, but don't sell yourself short. Most of the reviews on this website -- including the one's for Steins;Gate 0 -- are basic summarizations of the events that happened in the story, with little to no effort in analyzing the major themes or character developments. You did nice job of taking an objective view of the show, and explaining the various deficiencies it had.

It's incredibly sad to see uninspiring, incoherent reviews get pushed to the top for the sake of stroking someone's ego; rather than well-thought-out reviews, that actually have something interesting to say.

But, I suppose we'll have to be content with the "truth being out there," and move on with our lives.

Looks like the Steins;Gate fanboys were too strong for your review to maintain its top four status. What a shame. Objectivity is no match for blind acceptance.

Nice review, btw.

Sorry, I thought your words about Steins Gate 0 in your review were too shallow and forced. You can have your opinion about the series, cause no one is obliged to love the same things, but after writing contradictive statements, you should expect opposition. I wouldn't mind a negative review if the points have value and are apparent, but I can't say the same for words that are pulled out of the rectum.

S;G 0: EXACTLY my thoughts. At first I thought I was the only one who was not enjoying the series from the very beggining. While everyone pre-rated it 10/10 I thought I was on the 'hater' side now, it felt wierd.

Can't believe I 've been waiting for this trash for so long. I was expecting a sci-fi mystery in a dystopic WW3 world with a 33-old Okabe... but certainly not this.

Thank you for the SG:0 review. You wrote exactly what were my complaints.
Looking foward for more of your reviews!
