It looks like I'm one of the first to get a review out of the finished series, which I am very pleased about. I want people to be able to read about the wonderful experience I had with this show first.

If you're already a fan of the Lupin series, then this should be nothing new for you. Jumping back in to the fun and colourful world of Lupin and his gang, along with the new additions, is easy. For first time Lupin viewers, I would recommend you start with a couple of Lupin specials and movies before you go into this, just to get a read more

This 'movie' if that's what you want to call it, is appalling. It seems like the writers didn't even try at all! My friend and I loved the show, and he he has read the manga, so we were both really excited for this movie, but it was more like a really crappy OVA. I nearly cried while we watched this... Thankfully we watched the new Kill la Kill 25th episode after this. Anyway, here's my actual review.

I literally just finished this anime and I'm crying.

It wasn't 'sad' per se, but it was so awesome, and emotional, and inspirational that I'm crying. I think that this show might have ruined anime for me forever, because I don't think I will ever see anything that comes remotely close to the same level of awesomeness as Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. I can honestly say that, so far, this is the best thing, not just anime, THING, I have ever seen in my whole life. It was just amazing on every level.

Sure, the story was kinda stupid and ridiculous, but that's what made read more

With Excel Saga, you will either love it, or you will hate it. It is without a doubt one of the stupidest and funniest things I have ever watched. This anime fully embraces the crazy, and it certainly pays off. For some reason, I found myself falling in love with this show.

Story: 10
Every episode starts off with the author of the manga, Koshi Rikdo, giving his permission for Excel Saga to be turned into some kind of ridiculous parody, such as a soppy romance, a gripping social drama, or a B-list action movie.
Upon first glance, it would appear that Excel Saga really has no story read more
