The amount of joy that you can get out of a pleasantly mellow 7 minute slice-of-life is incredible.
Story - Is so simple it hurts. How do you make a 7 minute anime about a school slice-of-life so good? Yokoi is a girl that slightly stands out from the rest of her class. She always wants to study hard and do her best every day. The boy who sits next to her creates new ways to kill time which distracts her to her utmost limits.
Art - The art isn't anything to write home about. It's average at best. Maybe that works incredible well for this

anime though. Nothing stands out, but everything is drawn really well. Not to mention the craziness they incorporate in Seki's every day antics makes it worth more on the scale.
Sound - The opening isn't to bad. The ending theme is where it's at though. It's unique and the drumming on the metal instruments on Seki's desk and Yokoi getting into his beat and feeling embarrassed about it. I'd also like to point out Seki having no Seiyuu.
Character - The development for the character is lacking. But, they make up for this in developing the characters in 7 minutes every episode to show what this anime is truly about. Seki has no Seiyuu. He portrays his feelings through emotions that are pretty easy to read. Yokoi on the other hand is a normal girl who gets distracted at every turn with Seki. She has a cute voice and can be a bit Yandere when Seki starts ruining the imagination that plays out in her head with his certain shenanigans.
Enjoyment - Incredible. I enjoy start to finish of this 7 minute an episode anime. It's just long enough and keeps me laughing through out. I'd highly recommend it for anyone relaxing and looking for a laugh.

Oh god how I hate this anime. "How could you hate an anime you rated an 8 Bento, how could you!" Let me tell you why.
I hate this anime because I enjoyed it way to much just for it to be over that fast. Whoever thought of making 4 minute anime needs to be wiped from this planet. ON TO THE REVIEW!
The Story, Is stupid. there isn't really a story. But, that makes it so much more fun. Since the anime is short it concentrates more on small developments and character elaboration. What you have here is a sister and brother being friends with

another sister and brother from another family. The brothers are best friends and the sisters are best friends. Its very mild and easy to just coast along with.
The Art is fantastic to me. I love the colors and the fact it seems bright but dull at the same time. It gives me the same feeling like Acchi Kocchi and some other anime of similar coloring.
Sound is okay. I don't care for the ending theme to much. I like that its narrated in some parts. I also like the voice actors they picked.
The Characters, I feel is more important in this story because they concentrate on their development more then the story itself. You learn about what motivates each character and how they may feel towards each other. I also like that every episode the characters wear different clothes and the girls have different hair styles.
My Enjoyment watching this was way better. I laughed quite a few times. I feel like this anime could be one of my favorite slice of lifes if it wasn't only 4 minutes long.
Conclusion? I hate 4 minute long anime. I fell in love with an anime that ends faster then it begins. It leaves me salty... disappointed.. because I want more of it. It did lead me towards wanting to read the manga now though! Hopefully we will see another season soon.

Uchouten Kazoku is a story playing out about the lives of tanuki and tengu behind the scenes of an every day human life. You follow Yasaburou through out his daily routines until he meets Benten, a human girl taught the powers of a tengu. Life gets hectic.
First things first, The Original Sound Track (OST) is amazing for this anime. Probably the most outstanding in and of itself. I will elaborate below!

pot by the Friday Club. While they dodge this dilemma, Yasaburou finds himself opening every door to that life. Doing so leads to The two families butting heads, the revealing of his fathers death, and a subtle romantic entanglement.
Art - I loved the art. However, the ears played tricks on me throughout the whole story. I couldn't stop staring at them. I loved the background scenes and everything else was lovely to look at.
Sound - Amazing. From opening to ending i fell in love with the OST. I had to have it at episode 12 during the cliff hanger, I knew. This OST is amazing, it covers a multi-sku of genres. Infusing these together you get something amazing like a Classical Jazz Electronica. So worth it.
Character - This was just as good as the story. The fact that they kept it up throughout the whole 13 episodes helped as well. Everyone developed, even the side characters.
Enjoyment - was highly rated because I would re-watch this series over and over again.

Just finished that intense anime that had you on the edge of your seat? (Non-Spoiler) P.s. What's to spoil really...
Non Non Biyori is the kind of Slice-of-Life/Comedy you can just sit down, relax, and call it a day watching. Just why is that?
THE STORY is nothing to write home about. Every episode however brings a bit of character development and makes you love these girls... and the awkwardly silent brother... result. FRIENDSHIP. Every episode you see a bit build on this foundation between these lovely girls.
THE ART is specially good. You can see every feeling promoted through the artwork. I specifically love the way Hotaru is drawn. Not to mention Renge a close favorite. Even the side characters were drawn well. If you like the modern day art you will love these.
THE SOUND for the the voice acting is great. There isn't a single voice actor that turned me off while watching the series. Well, maybe just one. The brother of the Koshigaya's, Suguru. (This was a joke and you would have to watch to understand.)
CHARACTER development was probably the best category here. The way the story developed all 4 of these girls each episode showed their budding friendship to the world. It makes you learn who admires who. The personalities of those around them. It even explores side characters like Candy Store and Renge's past.
ENJOYMENT is satisfactory. This is the type of anime I can just turn on and casually watch while I fall asleep. Everything is cute, makes you smirk, and occasionally laugh. It's definitely worth the watch on a bored cold day inside. For the slice-of-life's fans it's possibly near the top of the list.

Have you ever watched an anime and had that distinguished thought of "THAT'S what I wan't to do with my life!" Now I wan't to be an otaku.
This anime is really good.
This story introduces a slight feel to it like Spice and Wolf where it teaches you a knowledge of something you may or may not have known about Japanese politics and the Otaku culuture. A boy devoted to being an otaku takes on a new fantasy world, presenting the extravagant anime/manga culture to the Holy Eldant Empire.
The Art is great. This series is not strung around by fan service but yet

still incorporates enough to keep that side of the fans happy. It's bright, beautiful, and keeps the story all the more entertaining. Not to mention, "Moe."
Outbreak Company has a great opening. I can already tell I will start loving an anime right off the bat. An anime with great music enhances the experience.
The character and subtle romance developments add so much to this flavor. Shinichi isn't dense. There's no greater happiness in my voice that I can scream right now other then, "Banzai!" You can clearly tell who has feelings for who during this anime even if it's not blatantly laid out. Every character peaks your interest. There is someone in this anime for everything, be it elves, half-elves, dwarves, humans.... or if lizards are your thing..

Jumping into this head first was a bit satisfying. Not knowing what to expect besides a mild definition intrigued my interest. Walkure Romanze was actually quite enjoyable for a casual watch. (Non-Spoiler Review)
Story - I thought this was the most enjoyable aspect of the anime. A potential harem anime revolving around something I never imagined could grasp and pull me in. Jousting. I loved everything about the introduction to the story and the things the anime actually teaches you about thee honor of a knight.
Art - The art was beautiful. Lots of Fan Service which I came in expecting. Something about medieval fan service captures

a certain part of your mind. Besides that, the animals, the buildings, the potential layout of the jousting area, everything looked amazing and bright.
Sound - Sad to say, but nothing totally sparked my interest with this anime. I found myself skipping the opening and ending quite often.
Character - here lies my biggest gripe. There were far to many scenes where they made it seem like Mio was subjected to sexual acts. I got tired of it. I also feel like Takahiro had a terrible reason for feeling the way he did throughout the anime. I liked the characters but hated the context.
Enjoyment - It was a great sit down and enjoyable watch. Bright, beautiful, and a learning experience for an era i quite enjoy.

Putting it bluntly, this anime is like a strange mix of Nyarko-san Another Crawling Chaos and Hataraku Maou-sama!
I took advice and gave this anime a shot. What can I say? Over-all its actually an enjoyable watch if you can handle fan service. (Spoiler Free)
Story - The story was not so original because Hataraku Maou-sama! already pulled off something like this. But, with the fan service and the way the setting was set gave a new spin on it. What I really wished for most was the story to elaborate a bit more on the pasts of Raul and Fino.
Art - I was a bit skeptical

at first, but then it really grew on me. Colorful and really cool at certain points. Very bouncy and raunchy at times though!
Sound - Some of the music was actually very catchy, like the violin in some of the fighting scenes. I very much enjoyed it.
Character - Fino reminded me of Nyarko. Very weird and very revealing. Every character had their own personality which added a bit. Not to mention finding out some of a hidden past with a few of them.
Enjoyment - It was a fun and filling watch. If you have seen many, many, many anime... It may not be original but its definitely at the least a great time waster.
Something worth watching this year if you have run out of shows!

Anyone who absolutely loved the anime and felt like they were missing something more after it ended?
Check out this manga. It feels like this manga picks up right where the anime left off. New challenges and much more ahead. I always loved how this manga/anime incorporates fairy-tails in our history into the show.
Great story so far. It starts picking up around the 4th chapter. The art is incredible as usual. The characters are amazing as usual. much enjoyed!

Boku no Ushiro ni Majo ga Iru, or simply put, "There is a witch behind me" is a very simple yet elegant and comedic manga.
Story- The story is about a boy who picked up constant transfers because of his mother and him running from his fathers debt. The boy starts class at a normal school finally and gets put in front of the witch's desk. Himself and the witches destinies are intertwined. Its just another one of those normal everyday school mangas.
Art- The art is subtle and sweet. I enjoyed it. Nothing absolutely fantastic about it though. It's cute enough to bring out

my urge to color things though.
Character- I believe this is my second highest rated category. The characters development isn't extreme but it happens and its cute. I like all the extra characters as well as the mains. It makes you wish something like that happened during your school days.
Enjoyment- Highest rated category. The amount of enjoyment I got out of this manga caused me to re-read it a few times out of bordem. Simply put, I loved it. The comedy value and the art collide fantastically.
Overall- It's cute, short, sweet, and funny. Very enjoyable.

When you're cycling through anime looking for something to watch. A lot of you might just skim and pass over Working!!. I looked it over quite a few times and always went on to something else. This ended up turning into one of my favorite Slice-of-life/Comedies.
Story - "Synopsis"
Basically a high school senpai named "Popura" who looks like an elementary school student invites "Souta" to work at a restaurant with her. The story develops slowly over time. It's more or less a comedy not concentrated on the story, but the characters instead. So I gave the story a bit lower score then most everything else

because it doesn't sound interesting. But, the other categories makes up for that.
Art -
The art is normal. Not great, not bad. To be honest I really like it and think it's very good. The characters are drawn to my liking. No characters except maybe one of Souta's sisters is ecchi. Very good anime in this aspect.
Sound -
The opening and ending aren't bad at all. Better then most of the anime out there.
Character -
This is where this anime shines. The character development even for the side characters of the anime play a big part.
Inami, Mahiru
A 17 year old high school girl who has androphobia (scared of men) and beats the hell out of them when she is around them. She is forced to work with Souta and they start to develop a excruciating bond with each other.
Takanashi, Souta
A 16 year old who is highly addicted to cute things and kids under the age of 12. Popura is the only exception to this category. He doesn't hold back with opinions and adapts very quickly to his surroundings.
Satou, Jun
A 20 year old who has a very strong love from Yachiyo. He is very intimidating and often picks on Popura whenever something goes wrong or aggravates him. (usually to do with Yachiyo)
Todoroki, Yachiyo
A 20 year old who carries around a katana on her side and usually scares the customers she greets at the tables. For the most part she is normal unless it comes to protecting the manager Kyouko.
Souma, Hiroomi
A chef and man of mystery. He knows everything about everyone but, no one knows much about him.
Shirafuji, Kyouko
A manager who doesn't know or do much. She is very dependent on the people around her. She comes off as very intimidating as well. She is part of a type of gang.
Yamada, Aoi
A girl who says she is 16 because Souta is 16, She is mysterious and is said to have run away from home. She often screws up and can never do much right.
Enjoyment -
I laugh a lot and I find this anime very enjoyable. Each episode brings something a bit new and unique to the table. I also like to watch the relationships develop between the characters. Certain parts can have you laughing out loud.
Overall -
One of the best Slice-of-life/Comedies out there. Don't pass it up. I didn't elaborate on things in this review specifically so I don't ruin the amazing feeling this anime can give off while your watching it. Give it a chance and enjoy it. :)
