I guess people also can't tell that your review of Fate/Zero covered both seasons, but you just chose to review it on the first season, seeing as that's the most logical thing to do. I see what you did there. I like it. Fantastic review.
Nice written F/Z review but you made a few mistakes. First of all there is a filler episode, that of little Rin. Second, the story is not that well written since the servants constantly talked to each other instead of just killing each other. And some like Lancer even contradict their own chivalry rules just for the sake of postponing deaths.
The title entries for FZ on MALmight be a bit confusing, you should have posted the review for the 2nd season as you made heavy references to the second than the 1st, dont know if it was initial intention or an error on your part.
Fair enough I guess, just wasn't for me in the end haha. I'm going to watch the 3rd Madoka movie when it's subbed, maybe that'll redeem the series for me. Thanks for a more structured debate though, in the past when I've said negative things about the series on other sites I've had fanboys jumping down my throat! It's nice to see that there are some people that put their opinions across nicely! :)
No, you're misunderstanding me. I like surreal kinda stuff, but I just couldn't stand the art style, it just wasn't for me. Sorry, but I understand why people like the anime and many of my friends enjoyed it, but I just didn't enjoy it. If it was a straight up 'magical girl' show I wouldn't have liked it at all anyway.
Also, I didn't find it as deceptive as you made it out to be in your review, but I guess that's just down to different minds.
I respect your opinion, and everyone else's opinion but the reason I didn't like it is not due to misunderstanding the anime - it's because I disliked the ending. I just didn't like it. (Sorry if I'm sounding rude at any point, I don't mean to be)
I really liked your steins;gate review. Everything was clearly pointed out the the explanations were flawless. Although one thing i didn't like is the way it was compared to the visual novel. I for one think that if you are going to review an anime, you should only review the anime, and not include how much better the visual novel is because one thing i noticed about your review is that it turned into a review for the VN halfway through. But even so, you have done i great job. Keep up the good work!
