Scores generated based on emotional/nostalgia, animation, audio and the proposal the anime offers. Below are defined the evaluation criteria, the half grade criteria, the suggested playlists and a special button, enjoy ♡(´ ε ` )♡
[Green]: Recommend to anyone [Orange]: Recommend if the person is interested [Red]: Dont recommend for anyone, run away
[10] Masterpiece: Nothing is perfect. But I would say these animes/movies were the ones that came closest to staying forever as a good memory. Impeccable animation (in some cases), amazing and touching story, and even though I recognized some of this list with their flaws (for example, my favorite anime), the emotional was stronger. All of this category accompanying in a good memory in childhood or moments of peaks of emotion these days Σ>―(〃°ω°〃)♡→
[9] Great: Here were those who came very close, but left me in doubt of being an anime “of life” for me. Almost all of them are impeccably animated and fluid works with amazingly developed stories (ranging to anime in all genres I've given that rating). If it had a 9.5 it would be the best case (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)
[8] Very Good: That note for me is a watershed. Because generally the animes here I liked a lot, but not getting to a point made me confused to know if it's a 10 or not. However, they are very lively with a good development and, most of the time, I always get emotional when it's an 8-upヽ(♡‿♡)ノ
[7] Good: The ones inside this category are also not very mysterious, they are animes that don't have a very well-developed story (but that doesn't mean they have holes), generally very animated and fun to watch. It's not something very remarkable, but it usually brings some good memory and a warm heart when watching. These are the famous animes that are good for being good at passing the time, knowing that they're not great works, but amuse anyone who likes to watch anime ( ´ ∀ `)ノ~ ♡
[6] Fine: It's ok. Are the animes that probably sinned in animation technical flaws or holes in the story that are clearly visible, are animes that you get lost watching and don't understand how, or are they the ones that don't add much but are still fun in some parts, or try to be. Usually here are the animes that make a big mistake in something but the viewer sees potential in some way ┐('~`;)┌
[5] Medium: Whatever. It literally doesn't change anything to watch these animes or not. Often the story doesn't add, it's stable, without plots and outstanding characters. These are animes that you don't know very well because you're watching, neither likes nor dislikes (neutral feeling), they're just there because you're following a season, or you saw them out of curiosity and think they'll probably improve somehow. It may have serious technical errors or not, it depends on the objective of the anime ┐( ˘ 、 ˘ )┌
[4] Bad: Here began another complicated category. These animes you already feel bad or get angry about something you didn't like very much, something you totally disagree with. It didn't add anything to watching, just the heartbreak. Some who watched this, the heartbreak came in the an end with a backlog of problems in the story or sexualization of female characters. Generally, if the anime sins in all that, it's only in this category because the animation counted on something that made it not decay further (눈_눈)
[3] Very Bad: Here are the animes that were makes me doubing about a four and in the end it only made the situation worse. It didn't change the context at all and many times it only worsened the situation in the main story (most of the time there's still a main story going on). Generally ecchi with shoujo animes are the worst in this regard, sexualizing or scaring a character until he feels coerced. It's not horrible, because there are some moments when you fool yourself into thinking you can get better (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞
[2] Horrible: If the anime got to that point, it was out of pity. What doesn't make it a complete shit is that maybe the intent of the anime, the main story, isn't what most fucks up the anime completely. But even in a way that doesn't hide from anyone, the story doesn't sustain and most of the times it's more for the young straight man to jerk off for a 2D character without publishing as hentai (ノಥ益ಥ)ノ
[1] Shit: Seriously wtf is this? I wouldn't even recommend it to someone I dislike, total waste of time. Most of here I dropped without thinking and if I watched it was because I was smaller and I didn't see a problem with that. However, the anime exists either in serious contexts, such as pedophilia or “incest”, or exacerbated sexualization of women (or men, in the case of yaois) in sexual positions ┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐
[-]No grade: If the anime doesn't have a note, it's because I don't remember its story completely, that is, what remains is just the memory of something good or bad. So as not to be unfair, I will review them for a clearer note (will be updated as I see it) (。•́︿•̀。)
Well... I'll try not to look too confused. Basically anime decreases or earns half a point (+- 0.5) depending on the other seasons. Besides that, the note at the end is seen as the work as a whole. So, if any anime on my profile is rated 9 in the first season and 8 in the second, the final grade would be: 8.5 (OVA grades are not part of the criteria).
This grading system does not mean that anime is good or bad. I just think it's fairer for some animes that aren't just an eight or a nine. Below are some examples of animes that are too good for a particular note and not quite as low ٩(。•́‿•̀。)۶
I'm going to share with you guys some of my Youtube playlists. It's not all the OP/OST/ED I know, but to keep it from getting too long, they're the ones I like the most (may be updated). Just click on the gifs below (▶) to access the playlists. Hope you like it (人´∀`*)
OPENING
OST
ENDING
I introduce you to Studio Ghibli's magic. Created by Miyazaki Hayao, with the composition of OST by Hisaishi Joe, Studio Ghibli came to me in 2014 with the movie Mononoke Hime (Princess Mononoke). But I didn't know at the time the magnitude that these movies brought with them. Well, here, I will recommend in this special (with base of my grades), the movies that so far enchanted me and brought moments of great emotion ♡( ◡‿◡ )
Below are the movies I've seen so far in order of preference:
Here are more songs in an extra playlist (this time on Spotify) to include in this special button. This playlist varies between the theme songs from the movies and with OST (mostly instrumental). Many of the ones that are here calm me down and make me focus on difficult times. A playlist made with a lot of love, coming from the memory that the movies reminds us of. Just click on the gif below (▶), and I hope you enjoy ( ˘⌣˘)♡(˘⌣˘ )
GHIBLI SONGS
These grades and rankings categories are merely interpreted by me and no one else. If you don't agree, that's fine. It's my personal taste and I'm open to discussions... So whatever, tell me a good anime at the end of it all and we'll “swap stickers” (as they say here in Brazil) without any problem. Don't hate me if I didn't like your favorite anime!
If you've read all this so far then check out the review I did about Studio Ghibli's movie: Review Whispear of Heart. Just click on the name movie link to check the review (I'm new haha). Below, this is a real-time updated list and thankfully the graph is bigger at the beginning so far (´ ∀ ` *)
"A lot of my movies have strong female protagonists - brave self-sufficient girls who don't think twice about fighting for what they believe with all their hearts. They'll need a friend or someone to support them, but never a savior." Miyazaki, Hayao
