This anime is one pleasant surprise. I was not really looking forward to watching it, especially with a somewhat boring title, but I was curious because of the high scores given in the reviews.
Sound: 7 - There are 2 OP and ED songs and they were catchy enough. Background music was just okay for me also.
Story/Art : 8 - At first, this would be a story of revenge. However, as the it progresses, it becomes a story of self-fulfillment and self-realization. The characters were pretty in an unconventional sort of way. All the men seem to have long limbs and long faces. The women were
...
from cute to sexy (but not offensive). I love the 'chibi' parts because it makes the scenes funnier.
Characters/Enjoyment: 9 - We learn a lot about the main characters - their personality traits, weaknesses, (little) history - and that is what makes it so engrossing. The voice actors did a beautiful job since the 'acting' parts will really suck you in and make you feel that they were indeed actors. Those scenes were moving.
Overall: 8 - I loved it, yes! I guess, I scored it an 8 because of the ending. Though, it was just right since you would definitely want more. For me, I simply did not want it to end... not at the 25th episode, at least. I might just pick up the manga... :)

My 3rd hentai review and I'll score this a 7.
This was one of the recommended animes and I was interested to know how a mystery plot would go with hentai. And surprisingly enough, it was not too bad.
Characters: Kidou (the detective), Ayano (the mistress of the house), 3 more girls and 1 old butler. I would not go into detail since it would not really matter.
Story: Mr Detective gets an assignment regarding a missing ring. This is supposed to be an important heirloom and they need to find it asap. Hmmm... so where's the mystery? It sounds like a typical hentai to me. So as
...
the story unfolds, the missing son/heir of the house is the detective. Surprise! Surprise! Well, not really - but it was told in a kinda subtle way. If you're not paying attention, you might actually miss it.
So as for the 'other' parts, I'd say - nice job. I was a hesitant to watch this because of the 'incest' but it was good to know that the characters are not not blood related. Or else, I wouldn't have finished this one. The mistress looked young while the other characters were 'well-developed'. So much for preferences. Mr Detective gets it on with all the girls, of course. H-scenes are okay to good kinky - nothing over the top. Yuri scene was too long for me.
The ending is the reason I scored this a 7. The main character was a good man - i mean, he was career driven (LOL). Supporting characters were okay. They tried to give it a story but the ending really sucks, I just don't get it.
Recommended? Maybe for those intrigued and wants to know how the ending spoiled this one... :P

When I first heard of this anime, it got me interested. I did like Kuroshitsuji so I wanted to try something light for a change.
Main characters: Hayate, Nagi, Maria and Hinagiku (+ a bunch of Nagi's classmates)
I'll score everything a 7.
I was not really expecting a lot from this anime. I've seen the 1st season and it had a pretty much the same plot.
Background: Hayate is acting as Nagi's butler to pay off his debt. Nagi is a rich and spoiled 13 yr old who oftentimes gets into trouble then Hayate will be there to save her. Cute, yes but it is not really
...
saying much.
This movie is not any different. We have the main cast spending their remaining summer break on a countryside. Being as spoiled as she is, Nagi is constantly whining about everything and Hayate is always there to pacify her. A spirit then shows up - makes Hayate forget about Nagi and tries to make his life better and easier - or so she thinks... they get separated - Nagi gets stuck in a some kind of carnival while Hayate is still serving as a butler but this time, Maria (Nagi's personal maid) is his 'milady'.With some confused flashbacks, Hayate remembers Nagi and saves the day.
What I liked about this is Hayate and Nagi's relationship. Though they might not have the same feelings towards each other. Nagi seem to like Hayate romantically while Hayate is just acting as his loyal self (I think). Hayate is sincere enough that anyone would definitely fall for him, especially a 13yr old. But I still can't help thinking: I know that he sort of likes Maria and Hinagiku, but if Nagi was a little older, would he feel any different?
To sum it all up for me, it's a very simple anime - with a simple story and a simple art. Good enough movie for Hayate no Gotoku fans. Other people can skip it since I don't think it offers something new and different. Pick up the 2nd season instead - it might just be better than this...

Let me start off by saying that Nurarihyon is one sexy Yokai!
*ehem*err* Alright, now I have gotten that out of the way...
Story: 7 - For me it's just the typical Human/Yokai story... it has an 'Inuyasha' feel to it... the plot is not boring, it's actually fast paced, but maybe I was looking for something more... the characters were developed quite nicely and the fight scenes aren't bad either... since Nurarihyon was strong, i wanted the antagonist to be a bada**... Also, the human by day and yokai by night is okay... not that Rikuo is not cute, but i wanted more Nurarihyon... waiting for
...
the transformation kinda gets old...
Overall/Enjoyment: 8 - Nura and his clan are so fun to watch... Nurarihyon is the leader of a bunch of Yokai - most of them appear harmless and they'll be the mischievous spirits at best... his most loyal subjects are Yuki Onna, Aotabo, Kurotabo and Kubinashi (Headless)... they provide comic relief to a seemigly serious story... We also have a "love angle" but being 12 yr olds, they are a little bit too young to be excited about... and i like Yura better than Kana, btw...
Ending had a nice feel to it and was not too mushy... though it did make me go 'Aaawww - that's cute...' -
What I also liked best here is the Sakura tree... it was mesmerizing... i am still waiting if it has some kind of significance in the story or maybe i missed it... :P
Now watching the 2nd season and by the looks of it, the 2nd part is much more promising... can't wait... :)

This is Naruto Shippuuden's 5th movie - i know I've seen all of the 4 but i barely remember what those were about... so i did not really have any high expectations for this one... but surprisingly, for me, this was really good...
Story, Art, Sound and Character would be a 7... but (my) Enjoyment and Overall score is an 8...
Story-wise there is really nothing new... Naruto gets thrown to prison since he was framed... he gets to meet the evil head of the facility (Mui)... he makes new friends while in prison... he gets to be his awesome self and then try to save
...
the day... typical Naruto arc, really... i must admit that at first i kinda got sleepy with all the talking going on... but then again, maybe i was just tired... anyway, once the story progressed, it got rather interesting... though there was 1 part where i was like 'oh okay, whatever'...
Art was same... if not kinda lazily drawn in some parts... i just noticed that Naruto had those 'chibi' moments... well, not bad and it's actually cute/funny... Sound was okay, since the only new thing for me will be the ending theme... w/c did not really strike my fancy...
Character development... hmmm... now, Naruto really took the spotlight this time... i mean, the other casts only got their screentime at the beginning and at the end of the movie... and the movie was an hour and forty-two minutes long!! i'm gonna be bias and say that i still love Naruto! nice job, kiddo! Mui was an annoying villain at first but i liked him in the end (so sad), the ANBU girl, Ryuzetsu, was okay... with her flashback, i already had an idea on what will happen in the end... Muku reminded me of Sasuke with his white skin and spikey hair... then there's Satori who in turn reminded me of Ryuk from DN...
Overall is an 8 since i thoroughly enjoyed the fight scenes... i guess i'm still not used to Naruto's sennin mode and the rasen shuriken... the action really saved this movie from being a total bore...
For me, this was the most entertaining/balanced NS movie... maybe because they were not really trying too hard? there was just a simple flow of the story - there were funny scenes, touching moments and exhilarating action - just the way i like my anime... :)

*sigh* why did I even bother with this anime... oh yeah! I remember! It has a bunch of guys with swords! Sadly, not even that thought could sustain my interest...
Main characters: Shinsengumi (too many to mention, i won't even bother) and Yukimura Chizuru
Overall score: 6 - I would have liked to score it a 5 but the guys were pretty enough so, i'll stick with 6.
I'll start with the one who inspired me to do a review -- the female lead: Chizuru... I must say that she's the most pathetic, helpless, useless character i've ever seen in all my years of watching anime... she started
...
of as cute - dressed up in 'kenshin-style' clothes... but as the story progressed, she didn't... yeah, she's an oni looking for her father... an oni with no personality... aarrgghh!! she is so frustrating to watch since all she does is scream everybody-san's names and cry and giggle and blush... c'mon!!
Then there's the Shinsengumi... Hijikata, Okita, Kondo, Sano, Shinpachi, Heisuke and Saito... did I miss anyone? well, i don't care... i've had my share of the Shinsengumi - from Rurouni Kenshin to my favorite series Gintama... but I must say that this is the most pitiful way of depicting these guys... yeah, they're strong, tough and loyal men... but to mix them up with vampire-like creatures? makes me think that the one who created this anime still has some vampire hang-ups... and spoiler alert: you didn't need to kill of Yamazaki!! damn!
Villains were okay, i guess... 3 typical evil guys: 1 strongman (Amagiri), 1 gunman (Shiranui) and 1 oni leader (Kazama)... they don't have much screentime and i'm not really in a mood to write about them...
There were only 2 good scenes in that 12 episodes, for me... and these would be (spoiler alert), when Okita and Hijikata became Rasetsu's... nice fight scenes...
I still have 10 more episodes after this one... here's hoping that Edo would make a difference... but i'm not really counting on it...

I saw a lot of good reviews about this one plus it was recommended for Itazura Na Kiss fans... I grabbed a copy a long time ago and finally had the chance watch it last week...
Main Characters: Shinichi Chiaki, Noda Megumi, Mine and Masumi
Enjoyment: 10 - it has been a long time since i found myself giggle and be giddy while watching an anime... at my age, i get bored fast... but this one really got me at the very first episode...
Overall: 9 - i'd love to give it a 10 but it focused too much on Chiaki that it sometimes forgot about the female
...
heroine... Nodame is an adorable albeit messy character and I love her... she was like Kotoko but with talent... :P
If there was an equal distribution of focus then this would be a 10... Nodame had issues too, but it was seen (too little of it) at the end...
It kinda made me think about the instant attraction of Chiaki to Nodame but it was actually funny... i was enjoying every episode too much to even think about it...
Supporting characters are introduced early on and they are also very enjoyable to watch... everyone just fits perfectly and no screen time is wasted...
Music - classical stuff... duh! not really into this but it really made classical music interesting... it did not convert me, so to speak... it was cool-different...
Fast paced, funny, a little romantic = highly recommended :)

This is my first hentai manga and it surprisingly is a good one...
I'll score everything an 8...
Story is about a young man, Kaoru, who gets bullied all the time. One day, he accidentally meets Kyoko, a fortune teller, and to help him out of getting bullied, she places a curse/spell on him... So, of course, the spell worked better than it should have... Kaoru kinda became this sex-machine with a massive thingy and never-ending stamina... he oftentimes snaps out of it but then he keeps on going and doing the deed... Energizer bunny, anyone?
As the manga progresses, we meet 3 more characters: Sara (Kyoko's rival)
...
Megumi (an idol) and Alice (the master)... Somewhere along the way, we learn that there are people who want to get their hands on Kaoru... we see Sara's plan backfire and she gets "punished" with Kyoko unleashing Kaoru on her (w/c was hot, since it became kinda sweet in the end)... Megumi trying to lure Kaoru but gets lured in instead... this girl is the normal sex-maniac of the bunch... Alice is the crazy sex-maniac here... she is the "old master" who seems to have something for Kaoru... errr?
There are a lot and i mean a lot of sex in this manga... all uncensored with some colored pages in it... art was great - detailed and not shabby at all... most of the scenes where hot, especially the last ones with Kaoru and Kyoko... i did not particularly like the Homunculi scenes since it was too perverted for me...
Okay, now since this is an H-manga, there is not much of a story but the good thing here for me is the ending... it was a pleasant surprise since it became a romantic H-manga... when all the girls were tied up and getting ready to be turned to "puppets" we get the Kaoru and Kyoko scene where he confesses his real feelings to her... Kyoko being a mind-reader knows all about it but was not saying anything (aaawww!)... so they have sex for the "last" time... it appears that Kaoru got a "power" of his own and with Kyoko transmitting her feelings, made it look/feel like he was having sex with all the girls in the room... what a way to get it on, huh? So, words were exchanged, blah-blah... And they lived lustfully ever after...
Notes:
- Bondage included but not too disturbing
- Yuri/Loli-type scenes concerning Alice (minimal)
- No tentacles (whooppee!)
- Hermaphrodites (though kinda fake) - i don't know what to call it
It would be interesting to see this as an anime... I think it would make a good supernatural, comedy, H-anime... :)

I love Bleach but their movies are oftentimes disappointing. For this 4th installment, it was kinda all out of sorts.
Story: 7 - Well, from the title itself, we know that it's about Hell... movie started out interesting, showing Ulquiorra's fight with Ichigo w/c had a little more detail and flair... then it jumped to the real world with the usual set of characters trying to find out what's going on in Karakura town... Shinigamis get into a fight and we meet new characters... knowing how Bleach goes, you cannot just trust anyone -- especially the ones who Ichigo gets involved with... anyway, so we get
...
to see Ishida, Renji and Rukia (with a little Chad) fight... it was nothing special, really... aside from Ishida, Renji and Rukia's powers never "evolved" anymore so it was so boring... so as the movie slowly progressed, we learn that the main plot is about getting Ichigo to destroy the Hell Gate and end the suffering of the Sinners... good! good! we get a glimpse of Bleach Hell at this point and it was kinda creepy since I believe that it had a kind of truth to it...
Art/Sound/Characters: 8 - I was surprised on how vivid and sharp the movie looked... everything was clear and crisp -- from the realistic Hell door to Ichigo's gold-speckled eyes... sound was very ominous-like... Characters were still enjoyable, though they did not really show anything different... Ichigo still wants to protect his friends -- hooray!
Enjoyment/Overall: 7 - I got bored and kinda fell asleep in the 1st half of the movie... almost, almost gave it an 8 after seeing Ichigo's Hollow-Berserker mode + the Yuzu twist but then it went downhill again... I've seen Ichigo fight countless times (he is the star after all)... i mean, i cannot complain since he gives one hell of a battle every time... but it would have been better if the other characters were given more exposure... a background story, a parody, anything to liven things and give it a little spice... thankfully, Hitsugaya and Byakuya had some screentime or else i would have scored this as 6...
Ichigo fights bad guys + A disapproving Soul Society + Friendship + Saving the world = Bleach
This formula worked before but it gets really old fast... give us something new, please?
Recommended to Bleach fans. To those who do not religiously watch the anime or read the manga, no need to bother since they might not be able to keep up. Oh, but then again, if you want a short Rukia fan service then go ahead and watch. Ichigo fan service is all over the series and I must say that I missed those ripped abs. teehee!

I haven't really seen any of the episodes of Weiss Kreuz but I knew of it when I was younger... When I saw that there was an OVA, I immediately grabbed the chance to watch it since it's just 2 episodes long... I wanted to have a "feel" of the anime first and I can say that it's not bad at all...
Main Characters: Aya/Ran Fujimiya, Ken Hidaka, Youji Kudou and Omi Tsukiyono
Score is 7 everything and 6 for the Sound...
I would not actually call this an OVA since it's too short... for me, it's like a 2-part movie... with assassins as the main characters, story
...
will just be the typical revenge type... it was surprisingly bloody btw and i kinda liked it... Art/Characters were fairly drawn and I'd classify the main cast as Bishounen(s)... Aya is like the leader so he's the brooding type, Ken is the boy next door and outgoing type, Youji will be the ladies man and Omi will be the idealistic child-like type... very interesting and deadly bunch... oh and i think Archer (F/S Night) made a cameo here... :P
As for the OP/ED songs, i did not like it... i guess i'm not into those jpop boybands... they sound good, yes but there's just something in it that is kinda creepy to me... haha!
Enjoyment/Overall: 7 - it was dark and fast-paced... it made me want to watch the Weiss Kreuz series... I wanted to know more about these assassins and their backgrounds... not really a priority but definitely one to spend time on...
Recommended to those who want a short action anime with pretty boys in it... Story is not related to the series so watching it beforehand is not required... :)
