Action, Adventure, Ecchi, Fantasy, Magic, Mecha, Psychological, Sci-Fi, Seinen, Shounen, Martial Arts are my main tastes, w/ a little pinch of: Comedy, Drama, Harem, Historical, Romance, School Life, Shoujo and Slice of Life types may be mixed in as well. I may also, once in awhile, enjoy the Gore or Horror types that you see in things like "Elfen Lied" or "Berserk."
I love the resurrected (Tensei) and/or summoned to another world (Isekai) types that have been stirring up the scene lately. I've tagged these as "Reincarnation", "Other World", & "Isekai" for my manga list.
Usually I shy away from a lot of the romantic comedy or school setting types, but may once in awhile look into one that's been popular. I don't hate them, it's just that I'm more of an action lover really, & I love seeing a bad-ass, overpowered, or confident main character more than the build up of a weak, spineless, or crybaby of a character.
To add to that, the Chinese & Korean comic types of the "Xianxia" or "Wuxia" I've got a soft spot for.
Lastly, I like the "Monster Girl" stuff that's been coming out too. That includes wolf/fox/cat/dragon eared or tailed human-like bodies to Lamias, Succubus, & the like etc.

The majority of my ratings stay about six or higher for most shows, but don't read into that too much since if I finished it, it'll probably end up being around that anyways. I generally don't dislike very many things, though there are some I can be rather disappointed in when I expect more to happen after things having gotten to a certain point.

There are numerous factors which can make something a favorite with me- Memorable characters, something that consistently made me laugh, a story that is able to convey a great amount of feelings, a unique theme or plot to the story... among other things!

The "BAD STORY IDEA, NOT GONNA CONTINUE CUS IT GOT WORSE, or NOT STARTING IT CUS EWW WHY IS THIS A THING?" Anime only dump list that is not up for debate on reasons, and is different from simply it not being an interest for me to start watching like "Jujutsu Kaisen" & "Dr. Stone" OR dropping it from getting bored of watching & not caring enough about what the story is trying to tell like "Irina: The Vampire Cosmonaut", "Tokyo Revengers", "Fairy Tail" & "The Promised Neverland"
Some I may have already been aware of from their Manga counterpart and partially was reading before their Anime, but this list below is the NOPE-NOPE-NOPE you'll never convince me of it being good to watch and neither will I EVER recommend them to someone. You can find these on my Anime listing rated as 1s, tagged as NEVER RECOMMEND, and in the dropped section or maybe completed if I really tried to give it a chance (RE:ZERO).
