Take care when reading my favourites. I wasn't sober when I made it. Then again, I am never sober...
I'm unemployed and barely qualify as a university student so I mostly watch anime. Typically either at Crunchyroll or other sources. I watch airing shows if they interest me but otherwise I just try to find what is good or what appeals to me. Specifically, I like:
- Yuri
- Magical girls
- Visually creative shows
- Laid-back girls-clubs/cute-girls-do-cute-things
- Deep character, societal or philosophic explorative dramas
- Sci-fi
- Music (I am a musician after all! not a good one though)
- Shoujo and josei
I despise harems. I can't stand overt violence, especially when glorified or made a joke of (looking at you, Hellsing) I'm all-for decently written heterosexual romance but I hate male-fantasies, and it seems like they are often one-in-the-same in anime. I'm not opposed to action though I don't specifically search for it. I have only watched 1 yaoi and am gradually gonna get into more. I'm eh about fanservice, though I tend to avoid ecchi. I like dubs though rarely watch them these days.
If you're wondering who my profile picture is, that's Hazuki from Yami to Boushi. Dreadful series, but she's a wonderful character. She's a gay badass that learns social skills and suffering across 12 episodes; what's not to love?
You can usually find a mini-review of sorts in my tags, but my general rating criteria, which begins to fit shows into bands as soon as 1-3 episodes, is as follows:
- 10/10 - A perfect score goes to something that demonstrated ambition or an inspired approach, succeeded on its premise and was generally masterful in its execution throughout. It also needs to maximise on a near-universal level appeal (aka, I would recommend it to almost anybody) or bring a niche's appeal to light (aka, I would recommend it to anybody as one of the best of the genre/ potentially an opener to a genre or style) Once the series ends, even if I am not clamouring for more, I am probably wishing for more of these creator's work and hope they can continue to make such inspired pieces.
- 9/10 - A half mark is lost to shows that may succeed excellently with a small degree of unoriginality or uninspired moments, or may have a couple of hiccups along the way, or divulge too hard into its niche's values to have that universality lost. In any case, these moments shouldn't add up to much and only exist as blips. A 9/10 may just leave me feeling hungry for more rather than content with what I got. Due to my unique tastes, a 9/10 that appeals to me thematically or genre-specifically may be on my list of favourites over what I consider a 10, but did certain things I couldn't ignore to putting it at a 10.
- 8/10 - An 8/10 is a show that has lost marks due to, conceptually or execution-wise, not being ambitious or inspired enough to score higher, has accumulating moments of hiccups or simply feels unneeded. It's important to confirm that an 8/10 should be one of the bests of the genre and deserves to be recommended to any fan of the genre or those looking to get into that specific genre.
- 7/10 - A 7/10 score is almost always enjoyable but is probably lacking in inspiration. If it does seem to be an ambitious project aiming for more, it's missed the execution somewhere. A 7/10 is where I stop defining anime as "great" but rather "good", and I would struggle to recommend these shows to anybody but new fans to the genre after they have watched what I consider the bests.
- 6/10 - A 6/10 is just above average, for whatever reason. There may be a saving grace to a mediocre show, or it may be further lacking in execution compared to a 7/10. If it is an ambitious project still, it botched the execution. Likely lacking that inspired feel, but getting by. I would hesitantly recommend a 6/10 to fans of a genre.
- 5/10 - A 5/10 is the average - though it is by no means a passing mark. A common theme through my 5/10s is that they feel uninspired or were close to getting higher marks in terms of execution and ambition, but ultimately left me bored or itching to finish it, or sometimes even a little offended from those. I would hesitate to recommend a 5/10.
- 4/10 - This is the dividing line where anime are more bad than good, though it's clear that they're not a complete failure. Usually, a 4/10 is barely getting pass marks for the basis of its genre, or mixes moments of success between moments of missing the point. Almost all of my 4/10s feel uninspired to the point of being worthless to anybody but the deepest genre divers.
- 3/10 - This is the score I give when a show begins to offend regularly. Even if it had interesting ideas it failed gargantuanly to realise them beyond a surface level understanding. Likely very boring. While it has enough of its genre traits to stand within that genre, I would struggle to recommend even to genre divers unless desperate for more.
- 2/10 - A 2/10 has just enough spunk in fragrant scenes of success or understands itself just well enough to scrape above the worst possible score, because they're otherwise massive failures in writing and execution, and absolutely feel worthless amongst their genre, and I would almost never recommend.
- 1/10 - The perfect marriage of being unforgivable and utterly missing the point, a 1/10 is a show that doesn't understand itself, its ideas, the audience or its genre, and is a blight to watch due to being, worse than anything else, boring. I would never recommend a 1/10.

While the filters and all are impressive, the art design isn't that great so it's not even that beautiful. K-On and Chuunibyou look better imo, and Tamako Market and Sound Euphonium leagues ahead.
Did it speak to you personally in any way?
Great review for Washio Sumi no Shou but still i'm confused about the watch order in the link you gave:
YuYuYu episodes 1-3
WaSuYu chapters 1-4
YuYuYu episodes 4-7
WaSuYu chapters 5-7
YuYuYu episode 8
WaSuYu chapter 8
YuYuYu episodes 9-12
WaSuYu Extra Chapter
YuYuYu Bonus Chapter
WaSuYu chapters 1-4 relate to what episodes in the anime? Same for WaSuYu chapters 5-7 and the others.
