Overlord II (Anime) add
I was hyped for this season, but unfortunately, it felt rushed to me.
The Lizard men arc did not really offer much in terms of character development and didn't affect the overall plot in a major way. I honestly felt like this could've been skipped. The pacing improved near the end, but the later arc suffered IMO because of the slow start. Something was also off with the execution, and suspect it was because they cut off some things.

But I really did enjoy how it was darker than the first season, and that other characters were given the spotlight this time. I just ...

Overlord (Anime) add
I got so much enjoyment out of this. It wasn't a perfect season by any means, but it sure was a lot of fun. OP hero is OP.

While watching I found myself asking a lot of questions: How did Ainz/Momonga get stuck in the game? Why? How far can their group take it and kick ass?
I also found myself intrigued and at the same time rooting for the MC to win.

I loved the cast of characters—Nabe, Cocytus, Aura and Mare, the whole gang. They're all so different, but unique in their own way.

In terms of pacing, they took so much time to craft the ...

Beautiful. Captivating. Heart-breaking.

I adore this anime to pieces. Just thinking about it makes my heart beat faster remembering all the emotions it made me feel. So unique, engaging, and the light-hearted moments balance out the heavy, heart-wrenching ones.

Their world is dangerous and always changing. I feel so helpless watching Lunarian attacks happen and so I feel like I experience the trauma along with Phos. There's emotional and physical growth in Phos that was so satisfying to watch.

I love how unpredictable every episode is. Just when I think I know what’s going to happen, it turns on its head and changes its dynamics completely, ...

Mixed Feelings
I liked Mahouka enough to finish it, but I felt like there was something missing. Tatsuya felt, to me, a bit flat as a character. He was perfect in every single aspect, but I felt that it didn't NEED to show him solving everything nearly every single episode. We already know this from seeing him kick butt. I kind of wish I'd read the LN first— apparently he had a lot of monologues that was cut out.

My favorite characters were surprisingly not the MCs— I particularly liked Amanda and Leo. I wish it had more episodes to flesh out the secondary characters.

The story arc at ...

LOVED it. 12 episodes, but each one made me smile so much my cheeks hurt. Jaw dropping, badass MCs. <3 This anime was pure fun.

I loved how Sora and Shiro are as a team—two halves that make a whole. Individually, they have their strengths, but together, they make up for each other's weaknesses. They're both crazy smart, with their own quirks. I like how they read a lot, too. Even with their amazing skills, they still try to seek more knowledge on how to beat a game.

If I'm going to nitpick about what I didn't like about the series (which is hard since there's ...

This really surprised me. This anime was a breath of fresh air. The main characters are smart and can hold their own—no senseless bickering and the characters get along well together. The blend and dynamics of the characters, you don’t usually see together. I think that’s what I loved most about this anime. No one really got to my nerves, and they all got a chance to shine in some way.

The MC is OP, which means a lot of cool battles happen, and a lot of things break and blow up. :D I don’t usually watch a harems, but this one was really fun. Such ...

Some things have to end. That's why they're memories. Because they happened, and that briefest or most fleeting second of happiness was shared, and it won't last. That's what makes it precious.
This is not the most popular anime. I know that. But to me, it will always be special, in a way.

I'll admit that when I first read the synopsis, I thought this was going to be some anime about four friends becoming idols. I was mistaken. Although it does, partly, concern their wish to become idols, this is a story about friends. And miracles, in its own crazy way.

Never mistake that it is ...

This series really grew on me. The characters, the art, the music—I started watching with low expectations.
Akko annoyed me at certain points, but by the end I've grown to love her as a character. You've got to admire her tenacity and how she remains true to herself. I liked the progression, how what she learned on previous episodes are reflected on the new ones (except maybe the patience episode lol). I love watching her strive and work hard to be better at something, even when others say otherwise.

Sucy, Lotte, Diana, and the whole gang were awesome, and they made the series so vibrant ...
