Hello! I'm Azizdy, but on reddit, you would know me as enotita! I'm nothing more than just a typical nerdy teenage high schooler who loves to watch anime, read comicbooks & manga, and play video games.
SCORING SYSTEM:
10: Best of the best, an anime so that never leaves my mind. One I constantly talk about, and leaves an impact on me in a way that speaks to me, and holds a special in my heart. 9: Fantastic, something in the veins of a 10, but not as impactful. 8: Something pretty great, I can look back to it, a little hiccups here and there, but still enjoyable. 7: There will be some problems, but it can still be enjoyable eitherway/ Nothing remarkable, but still good nonetheless. 6: This is where problems begin to truly show themselves, it can still be enjoyable either way, but it can have a few features that really bug me. 5: It would just be there for me. Not particularly good, but not that bad either. Usually meant for some forgettable series, but otherwise some semblance of fun. 4: Mediocrity at it's best. It would be bad, but not overly terrible. The kind of score given where I'm checking when it will end. 3: Something pretty bad, had a hard time trying to get through it, maybe a few redeeming features, but not very enjoyable. 2: Incredibly terrible, one noteworthy thing to save it from being a complete dumpster fire. 1: Absolutely horrendous, nothing gained from it, unforgettable in the sense of just how dreadful it is, to the point of affecting me.
My scoring system, as you can see, is based completely off enjoyment. I'm no professional critic with the time to pick apart anime critically, just here to enjoy myself.
My interests in terms of what I like are character driven series, or unique storytelling within it. I lean towards action oriented anime. Romance, comedy, drama, and maybe mecha would be appreciated too.
I don't mind friend requests, I would love to find others to talk to anime about. Trust me, I don't bite! So if your looking for a friend. Look no further!
List of anime I want to get into:
Kill La Kill (Watching)
Tatami Galaxy
Monogatari: Bake, Nise, Neko, Kizu, SS, Hana, Tsuki Owari, Koyomi
Shriobako
Monster
Hyouka (Watching)
Barakamon
Haruhi Series
Katanagatari
I see that you haven’t read the Kenshin manga; Honestly I’d recommend to the read the manga before completing the anime, I would genuinely argue that the manga is one of the most brilliant reads out there, and something every Kenshin fan should experience before the anime.
Nah, not yet. I think a logo or something was released but not much more than that. I don't doubt it will come one day, though. I see no reason why it wouldn't be adapted.
I dropped Part 5 mostly because I just want to wait for the anime to come out instead since it should be coming soon. But Part 5 is probably the most stand alone JoJo Part since it barely has much relation to the other parts. It does have a lot of complaints, most of them being that Giorno and the main villain are lame and a lot of people say that the ending is disappointing. It does have some praises, though, mostly that it has some really good fights and the supporting cast is great.
Part 6 is probably the most controversial part, mostly because a lot of people don't like the ending (don't search up what happens, you REALLY don't want to be spoiled on it). I personally love the ending and it's my favorite in the series. The part also has a great JoJo and villain. My criticisms for the part are that a lot of the fights are really bad and the supporting cast is weak compared to other JoJos. It's still really good tho, and definitely worth experiencing.
You can decide whether to start Part 5 or 6 first. I haven't gotten to 7 yet.
That's weird people are calling Jotaro bland, dude is one of the most enjoyable Shonen MC's I've seen in the amount of shonen I've watched. Also hearing there is a JoJo that could be better than these 2 is exciting, so I can't wait to check out part 4 when the time comes and i'm hype for this finale!!!
Happy to hear that your are enjoying FMA03, and I can share your sentiment of it being good, but not at brotherhoods level. The darker aspect was really cool to see due to how different it was at times. You'll have to let me know how you feel on the ending when the time comes! and then you'll have to check out the 1999 HxH or the OG JoJo :)
I just binged the last 8 episodes of S1 and the show definitely finished strong. I'm still a little unsure if I will give it a 7 or 8, but I will stick with 7 for the time being as I reflect on my thoughts. As the season went on I've started to like Jotaro more and more to the point where I don't know if I like Joseph or Jotaro more(JoJos has some great guys). I wasn't really sure about the concept of stands vs what was once Hamon at first, but after finishing this season stands are now probably one of my favorite power systems in anime. Definitely a fun show and I can't wait to watch the second season.
Yo, I also noticed FMA03 is on your watching list. I haven't seen the original since I started watching anime around 8 or 9 years ago(It was one of my first), I wanted to know what you think of it since I know you like Brotherhood a lot.

So you planning on going back and reading the manga after finishing the anime?
