-Food Wars! Shokugeki no Souma
-Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation YEAH RUDEUS IS ON MY FAVOURITES CRY ABOUT IT BOZOOOOO S2 SO HYPE THIS SHOW IS SO GASSSS
-Top 3 Light Novels/Manga (as it stands)
-Classroom of the elite. - Once again by a large margin. This one is up there man.
-Konosuba - This is a really enjoyable book series it slaps hard
-GRAND BLUE ATSUKUNARE MY FRIENDS
-**I recommend sorting by score if you check either list but you probably do that anyway**
-Whatever I give to a show is entirely my opinion on it and not law. What I think a show deserves is generally different than the score I give it. The score I give is what I personally rate it, but if I had to look at it objectively without bias or clouded judgement the reviews would look different.
-I've noticed I'm a lot less jaded and cynical than most anime watchers. Doesn't mean I'm soft on anime, just means I'm less harsh and see the good in a lot of it instead of hyper-focusing on the bad. That said I acknowledge my ratings are not perfect.
-It is not a good idea to compare scores I give. This is because some shows are not as good as others but may receive a higher rating. Since summing up all my feelings on a show into a single number is hard and ineffective anyways, comparing the ratings just makes it impossible for me to rate shows what I want to rate them. Just know that if a show is rated higher than another that very likely doesn't mean I think it is better. This isn't a tier list. (like fr bro there is absolutely no way food wars is better than attack on titan 😭😭😭 this is just how the rating system works.)
-For some reason 7/8 seems to be my base score for any show so most shows only have like 4 possible ratings they could be, not really my fault I just kinda do things that way, so I include half ratings in the tags for more accuracy
-Also, since romance related stuff is my favourite, often they're disproportionately higher rated than all time classic shows. Once again cannot be helped and is not an objective statement of quality. It's clear to see I have a taste and my ratings are skewed in favour of anime that fall in line with it. Basically all this text is to justify me giving good ratings to stuff nobody likes. lol.
-There are some characters that I like that didn't make the cut for favourites since I can only keep 10. These are:
-Chika Fujiwara from Love Is War
-Most of the Food Wars characters. Ikumi Mito is a surprisingly convincingly written human. Terunori Kuga I inexplicably like, I'm not sure why. He's not super significant or anything, Food Wars just has a way of making you like relatively unimportant characters.
-Momo Deviluke from To LOVE-ru, as well as Zastin
-All the main characters from Saekano are awesome and the side ones are also pretty amazing
-The four main characters of Cowboy Bebop are all excellent.
-Mako Mankanshoku from Kill la Kill
-Ryuuko as well. Her design is just too good and I am a sucker for good character design. she just has a certain level of charm
-Misaka Mikoto and Kamijou Touma from the Raildex series
-All the Steins;Gate characters are pretty solid, mainly Okabe and Kurisu.
-Oshino Meme from Monogatari goddamn what a dude. He deserves to properly be on the list but the only thing holding me back was how he was barely present in the story, but his re-emergence at the end of owari second was incredible, a legendary and insanely earned moment. Honourary favourite for sure.
-Narumi Momose for being a bresh of freth air as a character
-Inaba, Himiko was on my favourites list but got booted to make room for RUDY LETS GOOOOO
-Kometani from Komi Can't Communicate, Tadano and Komi are wonderful also. I think i like tadano more than i like komi lmaoo
-Echidna from Re:Zero is a banger character, basically the validation Okabe never got. she is likeable, shame she's evil
-Upon rewatching Demon Slayer, the main four are absolutely fantastic. They just feel so novel you never get tired of the chemistry between them, and the voice actors just completely nail it they're incredibly unique and top-class. Rengoku as well, of course.
-MARIN FROM MY DRESS UP DARLING AND EVEN MORESO THE GRANDPA HE'S AWESOME I LOVE HIM
-Misaki and Usui From maid-sama go crazy hard, Misaki reminds me of mikoto from railgun a little ngl. the moron trio is awesome too i love how surprisingly down to earth they are and they get enlightened for no reason and have a crazy backstory but are still obscure af characters i love them
-Chisa from Grand Blue Dreaming is a great character with a great voice actress. I love aina too, same thing goes. Man I just love every character iori is great too
-The people I've saved are people who I like for one reason or another. Usually their voice work or sound work.
-Fukuyama, Jun didn't make the list because of the limit but he is great too
-nor Sugita, Tomokazu, whose voice has a large range and is satisfying
-Date, Arisa, who, like the Ayanokouji seiyuu, has very very few roles. but the ones she does have she blows out of the water, momose from wotakoi has godlike voice acting this girl's VA literally carried the show.
-Tachiki, Fumihiko chill dude with a chill bro voice and he looks great for his age
-Koyama, Rikiya don't miss either
-Yo roxy and chika same va????
-Johnny Yong Bosch cannot be stopped he's too good and he's in everything (english VA)
-Like damn some of these seiyuu got crazy nice voices. like Shion Wakayama who's barely in any anime and none that I've seen but silky af. Saved kurisu's VA and Inaba's as well cuz their voices are so nice. The Love is War narrator's voice goes hard, Korosensei's voice goes hard (Also plays Joker and Lelouch I believe), Ishigami's voice goes hard. Kaguya and Komi's VA as well, Miyuki and Saitama's is great as well. Guess the same goes for English voice actors but I notice a lot how outstanding Japanese voice acting is. Hanazawa, Kana plays a lot of great characters like Sengoku from Monogatari and Mikan from To LOVE-Ru, among some others like Mayushii from Steins;Gate and Onodera from Nisekoi. And how come all seiyuu can sing?? like really well too it's mind-blowing. Hiroshi, Kamiya, the guy who voices Saiki, Araragi, and Levi (among others) somehow brings something different to each of his roles and makes them all unique. Love the way the guy talks, he does shinji from fate too (grr but he does well). A lot of seiyuu are not typecast, admittedly some are but they have huge ranges. EREN KILLS IT WTF HIS SEIYUU IS SO DAMN GOOD
