I enjoy watching dubbed anime. Especially those obscure, underrated shows from the 90s and early 2000s. ^_^
I also like anime cons. :)
And of course, I'm a HUGE fan of Pokemon. I watch the anime, play the games, and collect the merchandise. XD
Hello, and Thanks for Reading Anime Guild's Fifth Newsletter!
The Anime Guild is currently trying to rebuff it's Art Department.
We are currently looking to add new Graphical Art Officers. If your interested, check out this link.
We are also currently hosting a Graphical Art Competition that is being run by Forgotten Memo.
Also don't forget that Memo will also be hosting a White Day Competition in March as well.
Our next order of business is the revival of our Review Section.
We at the Anime Guild want to build a reviewers community.
With all the currently airing season activities we have.
This can be the perfect platform for reviewers to want and be apart of this community.
This is also being hosted by known MAL reviewer HaXXspetten.
Our new Power Rankings Committee system seems to really be hitting off.
If you are a currently airing season watcher. You shouldn't be missing out on the fun.
Our Spring 2016 Season Sign-Ups have been made. I hope to see many of you participate =).
Lastly we'd like to mention that we do have a Thread Directory
This you might want to bookmark as it features all of our recurring threads that are not sticked.
From a bunch of Psychology Quizzes, to several unique forum games, and funny threads like picking what anime opening would be your theme song.
We have tons of smaller threads that peak a wide variety of interests.
~Thanks for reading and have a nice day~

Hi Lisa! :) I know it's too soon to ask you this, but have you thought about watching Detective Conan? it may have a lot of episodes, but you can watch the series in any order you like (it also has Megumi Hayashibara). You can even start in start with episode 400 and go to either the newest episodes or the oldest. I haven't watched Slayers yet, but I did watch Lost Universe, which was made by the same light novelist and this space adventure comedy has the same art-style.

Hey Everybody, very serious message from le Creator of RACE
Please read carefully
As I'm sure some of you have noticed, RACE hasn't been very active lately
Part of that is my fault, I haven't been able to give it my full attention while being busy with moving and work in real life
However I think a big part of it is the fact that so few members visit the club
I mean we have nearly 2000 members.... maybe 20 active? total?
For a long time i was thinking about shutting down race and starting a new club with some new ideas I have
taking all the things i learned from RACE and moving on
MAL has changed since I first joined, most of my original friends are super busy and rarely around
But RACE and mal are still important to me so I have a different plan
A few people helped me come up with the idea so this is what's going to happen.
We're purging RACE.
You won't be able to access it. We're going to close it for a few days
Everyone in the members list will be removed
All the threads deleted (almost)
Everything will be started over. We will start over with a smaller club and staff
I have a lot of cool ideas for what is going to happen.
For those of you that are wondering about the sports festival
It wasn't as active as we'd hoped so we closed it.
The sports fest was my way of seeing if race can still be active and it failed
So now we're purging.
When we open back up there will be a new and improved Sports Festival!
It will be the Grand Re-Opening of RACE
please come back if you still love race like i do and want to be active
This isnt meant to punish the people that are around, or even the ones that arent
This is my decision
I need a reason to get excited and motivated again and I think this is the best thing for RACE We will be Re-Opening on August 1st
Thanks for everything you guys!
See you in a few days!
I like the Gold and Silver remakes as much as the originals. I started to buy Pokemon cards and stuff back in 1999 and Red is the oldest game in the series that I have so far. Before I used Serebii or Bulbapedia, I had a Pokemon book with like 150 pages or so from Wal-Mart. Unfortunately, the info it had is obsolete and the book has been completely worn-out, but that's alright.
Greetings from your friends at the Anime Guild!
Where have you gone! Your pokemon miss you =(

Hello, and thanks for reading the second edition of the Anime Guild's Newsletter!
We are proud to announce that we’ve introduced several new features to our line-up of great activities =).
Our first new feature is our Seasonal Opening Competition. We at the Anime Guild provide a great assortment of Seasonal Activities and we believe that this will be a great addition to the line-up. So if you’re a huge fan of openings make sure you pay attention to the rest of our tournament -.^.
Secondly we are attempting to incorporate more Manga to our club with our Weekly Manga Discussion. Where you members vote upon what manga to read for the week and then can discuss that with other members of the club.
Lastly we have something a little different in our Seasonal Power Rankings where we take a group of people AND SHOVE THEM INTO A STEEL CAGE TO FIGHT IT OUT! Nah seems too violent if you ask me. We’ve set up a power ranking committee that will come together and discuss which x-amount of anime to watch per season and rank them from 1 to 10-15 every 3 weeks during the course of that season. Please enjoy our masochism =p. Second Edition should be posted on May 18th.
We are now halfway through the Spring 2015 Season and our Seasonal Discussion continues to grow as one of the more popular activities in the club. Please join the discussion if you want to journey with us to the climaxes of the various shows =O.
[spoiler] Hello, and thanks for reading the first Anime Guild's newsletter!
We are glad to announce that our nominations for best character and anime of the season is coming soon.
The winners are going to be displayed in our new layout. Courtesy of Andrew :)
If youre interested we are having Simulwatches every weekend, check our forums for more information
We are looking to add more life to our Steam group, so feel free to join if you want to.
Also if you like to talk, join our Skype group where lots of friendly users are active!
With shows almost coming to their dramatic or disappointing ends you can always go to the Seasonal Disucssion to discuss the show with your fellow club mates. Also remember that if you want to share any of your reviews you publish about this season to, add it to the Review Season Here.

It's an adventure kids' movie (from the man who did background art for Akira) about two kids who get taken to Banipal Witt, a world inhabited by anthropomorphic cats to get their dog, Papadoll, back from Buburina (a villain who has one of my favorite performances). It's a pretty simple plot, but it's such a wacky film. Copies are hard to find (sadly) ever since Geneon went bankrupt.
(You sent a friend request, but I'd like to have a chat first before I decide whether to accept it or not.)
So I see you like watching obscure 90s anime. I'll throw you a recommendation of Catnapped!, because it's awesome, has a pretty good dub (though the sister is annoying), and needs more love. I can provide a link if needed.

I too have the anime set as a big side-watcher (completed first 300eps)
Pray tell, what's your favourite Mon'? :)
