ah, i still havent finished shield girl despite starting it 2 years ago smh. it was pretty fun tho iirc.
and same, its always nice to have some balance in life so you dont get bored of smth too quickly. for me that balance is the 2 vastly different type of shows that i watch or the vastly different type of people i talk to x.x

thats always a good way to go about things. people on here used to joke that i'd watch the darkest and most depressing nihilistic show in existence one minute, and then completely switch to a wholesome cgdct show the other x.x either way i hope youre able to enjoy the more upbeat things you watchhh

planetarian is one of the few shows that has been able to bring me to tears. as for emanon, you should definitely read it sometime. its one of the greatest manga of all time imo and its something that still leaves me thinking about it. the art in it is also top tier and its a pretty short read so it shouldnt take too long :p

on a less pretentious sidenote, you're the only person i've seen with planetarian and omoide emanon in their favs which is based

contradictions in human character are one of its most consistent notes

Did a little revamp on my profile. I tried the modern "about me" but it kinda sucks, so I'll stick with the plain text.

The World only God Knows não é aleatório não hehehehe.

Got it. However I still have seen a lot more anime than you, so probably isn't the best comparison.

Although that's nice, I don't share compatibility with many because I watch a lot of diversity.

Yeah, GITS 2045 had a lot of emotional elements. In many ways, it was the most emotional GITS yet and I thought Purin was a really interesting character. For some reason, I found the scenes where Batou was sorta consoling a bereaved Purin (in his own slightly awkward way) really affecting. It seemed totally convincing and had a lot of pathos to it. The soundtrack did a lot to magnify those feelings and as you said, the sound production as a whole was exemplary. The sound effects, the soundtrack music, and the voice actors - were all mixed and produced brilliantly. They were at just the right levels and were very well-balanced and equalized, and they had just the right amount of velocity and dynamism.

Hey, I've started watching Drifting Dragons (I'm on episode 6) because you namechecked it in your biog. So far, I've been really impressed by the visuals and the soundtrack (nice use of the clarinet), and the themes of hunting and consuming, and human selfishness, are giving me some food for thought. Also, it has an excellent cast of English language VA's that I'm familiar with through other anime.

Getting back to GITS 2045. How did you interpret the enigmatic ending? Everything made sense to me up until the penultimate episode, and then the final episode almost left it up to personal interpretation or made it very confusing and difficult to draw a definitive conclusion from.

Well done with that GITS 2045 review. It's nice to see there's someone who feels the same as me about it! Why the low score? Immature 3D haters, and perhaps the futuristic hi-tech, and socio-political stuff is too complex for them. Also, the OP and ED songs are two of the best anime tunes ever!

Hi, I don't remember what I said if I said anything because I don't see any comment of mine above haha.

That's cool, although I haven't been watching as much anime as in the past.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
