I typically don't read much manga, but I gave The Emperor and I a try after seeing the cover and reading the synopsis.
Being both cute and funny, this short slice of life manga sucked me in instantly and I ended up reading the whole thing in one sitting. Like me, I'd recommend reading it all in one go!
The art is charming and makes for a pleasant reading experience, and being full-color makes it pop even more. The characters and their interactions were equally charming and lighthearted. While there's no grand overarching plot or anything of that nature, it suits this manga just fine!
