Great reviews and solid tastes! I like the way you compose them a lot, in-depth and great use of wording. Read your LotGH one and made me want to finally watch it.

Sick review of the Legend of the Galactic Heroes!! I didn't watch it yet but only by reading your review it convinced me to watch it sooner than I wanted to! Also, your writing is really inspiring! Keep it up!

100% agree with your Blame! review, huge shame it turned out so bad. But I'd definitely not write off the manga because of it, the movie is literally all made-up so the cliff-hangerness of it is confusing to me. In the manga you follow Killy through a silent journey as he survives the constant carnage the city creates. There's one part where he find a human colony for like one chapter (which this movie extends to all hell) but he just passes through as it almost gets totally wiped out.

Manga has way more action, campy-ness, cool-factor. Killy isn't an in-your-face badass, but a struggler. Human interaction is brief with crazy wanderers, hunters, colonies, scavengers. Totally different

I liked your Mirai Nikki review, especially where you said "The ways in which she interacts with Yukiteru seem to shift depending on conveniences of storytelling rather than following from any sort of consistent developments in personalities"
I agree. There was no consistency in the way Yuno interacted with Yuki. The writers/director used her behaviour as nothing more than a plot device to keep the audience interested and to move the plot ahead.

For example, why would she just assume Yuki's mom is bad and that she needed to kill her? Because in some instances, she'd shown restraint before killing (or choosing to not kill) people. Made no sense to me.
