Tsukihime was my 1st anime that made me start my anime addict life, the 2nd anime for me to watch right after Tsukihime was Fate Stay Night. I never knew they were under Type Moon until I checked MAL a few months later. After my cousin told me that they were going to make an anime with both of them put together, I was excited and eagerly waiting until it was released.
A couple weeks before the start of the anime I thought that it was going to be filled with tons of fighting and character rivalry. Then my cousin sent the opening to the anime
...
and it was all fun and light instead of dark. I felt a little disappointed, but actually relieved that no character had to die fighting each other.
Story: huh? there is a story to this anime? nope there wasn't.....I think. It was a bunch of different random things happening in every episode switching between Tsukihime and Fate Stay Night.
Art:10/10
I gave the art a 10/10 because I always enjoyed watching light cute anime styles.
Sound: 10/10
Sound was great, from the voice actors to the effects used.
Character: 10/10
I enjoyed all of them very much. From the wackiness from Assassin or Kohaku's mad scientist acting and Hisui's hypnotizing movements etc. The other characters that were added from the Melty Blood manga and games were there in the anime as well.
Enjoyment 10/10
Everything funny and easy to understand because I have read the Tsukihime manga and watched Fate Stay Night anime. Now I have shown this anime to a friend of mine and I showed him the jokes that didn't require knowledge from either of those and he enjoyed it, but when they brought in a reference from one of them I had to explain it to him, but he just got more confused from me explaining it.
Overall: 10/10
This anime was very enjoyable to me and one of my favorites of all time. To fully understand this anime you need to read Tsukihime, watch the Fate Stay Night animes and read the novels, and play the Melty Blood games a little. There were some characters that I were unknown to from me not reading the Fate Stay Night Novels.
