Yay, Sunred! I'd wait a bit before watching the second season, though. I watched it right after the first, and while still good, it's more of the same, and I honestly got kind of burned out on it. Probably best to wait a bit and then watch it when the show will be fresh for you again.

For liking Baccano! more, I still looked forward to Durarara! with each coming episode, it indeed has a wonderful cast of characters worth following wherever they go. The innercity setting was a nice touch at that.

Somehow Shizuo being popular with the ladies makes sense when you mention, but I certainly agree he's a very fun character. The fact he hates violence is interesting enough, along with his superhuman strength at that. His brother was an interesting match for him, being there had to be someone to cool him down.

I can also see what you mean with Celty, even with her dialogue being texted to other characters, she certainly has a feminine charm all her own, without sacrificing her mystical aura of course.

I would definitely look forward to a second season if it did answer any questions from the first, especially your previously stated question of course. :D

Just saw Durarara! and liked it not too long ago, nice to see you liked Celty a great deal, I'd say Shizuo was my favorite for the record with Celty as a close second.

I would like to see a second season, that's for sure.

Haha, I promised myself I would eventually watch that someday, at least part of it, since it was sooooooo popular, and I have never watched it. Kinda like Dragonball, which I know most of the main cast by name, but have never watched an episode/read a chapter in my life.

Don't. Every moment in Evangelion is crucial in observing the characters. The main reason people are frustrated with it is because they spend too much time trying the analyse the plot when its true purpose is as a backdrop for the characters to act in, which is the central point of the show, at least in my opinion.

When you get around to watching it, don't bother trying to make sense of the plot the first time you see it. Just pay attention to the characters, you'll find it a lot more enjoyable that way.

Don't do that. The retelling just doesn't have the same feel. Besides, the movie will come with a different ending, so you'll want to see the TV series anyway.

Your to watch list looks great. By the way, I would like to recommend you watch Legend of the Galactic Heroes.

Also when you do get around to seeing Evangelion, don't forget to watch End of Evangelion. I also suggest you feel depressed before you watch it, it helps you to understand it better.

Man, you're on quite the binge!

That's a pretty decent "Plan to Watch" list, too. Those are some anime essentials ya gotta get under your belt.

maybe that's because i have more male hormones than female? lol
anyway, i seldom see tamaki in the "favourite character" column of boys, as the majority are girls.

you're Johan's fan too?
haha, the last episode really scared the shit outta me btw.

Abort! Abort! Blood+ isn't worth it! Way too long, too slow and way too cliched - just a waste of time. The early episodes are quite good, but episode 6 is just so hackneyed and laughably cliched your eyes will fall out of their sockets due to intense rolling. The drama in the show absolutely flat-out fucking sucks and Saya is an awful lead who you simply CANNOT root for. Urgh, it makes me shudder to think about it.

A lot of familiar faces? I'm terrible at remembering new faces.

You tell me if JS2216 is good after you've taken it. A friend of a friend said that it was quite tough. I'm only taking LAJ1201 hopefully next sem.

But nus is still a big campus. xD

Wad modules did you take for your Jap minor? I'm considering minoring in that too so far I've only taken GEK2022.
