For starters, if you plan to watch this special, then you are quite acquainted with Mahouka and the various anime that have already come out in previous years. What this special did was shed a lot of light on the relationship between Tatsuya and Miyuki and how it evolved to its current state. A lot of background information was also provided, and some rather important characters made an appearance as well. To say more would be spoilers, so I'll refrain from going further.

The art and sound were just great overall, and anyone who knows anything about Mahouka should have an idea of how things will read more

If you are a fan of World Trigger, then you owe it to yourself to watch this season. Much like the second season, this season's animation is quite on point, which is great when you compare it to the animation of season 1. I would go as far as to say that it's quite stellar, judging by the latest episode. The plot continues advancing forward with more rank wars, more great characters that help with world-building, and old characters that grow on you as time goes.

The sound fits well with the action and animation on display through the episodes aired so far. If there's one read more

Nanatsu no Taizai is back yet again with its awesome array of colorful characters. Coming off the heals of Kamigami no Gekirin which felt disappointing for the fans, Fundo no Shinpan feels like a breath of fresh air in comparison. The story progresses forward at a decent pacing and huge revelations are in store for anyone who decides to watch this sequel. There has also been lots of info dumps which help with world building. You could say we are hitting the climax soon, if not already!

As mentioned, all the great characters are back including the great Escanor (haha) which is a treat considering read more

If you're a fan of the first season of Dr. Stone, then you have to give the second season a try. The second season picks up right where the first season stopped and is full of action since the first episode. All our favourite characters are back, including the quirky ones (isn't this almost all of them? haha). The animation is still on par with the first season as well as the sound and general approach to the series.

Story is still progressing at a decent pace, but there is still much left to be told and if the OP is anything to go by, then read more

I don't write many reviews, but I felt that the score for this anime was so astoundingly low that I just had to write a review to do it some justice and counter some of the negativity that I've read about it. So, let's get started.

The concept of this anime is very simple. Our MC dies and gets revived in another world as a child with powerful physical abilities as well as the affinity to master all elements. The deities who helped him with the revival want him to just enjoy his life and do whatever he wishes. He has no obligations, no responsibilities, nothing. read more

Having read the webtoon ages ago and only remembering certain key points of it, I decided to dive in despite reading all about the pacing issues or how bad this show was. Ironically, it ended up being a hell of a lot better than other webtoon shows that aired recently. I'm looking at you, The God of High School and made me feel nostalgic for the day when I read the manhwa.

The thing about Noblesse is that you have to watch the OVA first because that provides you a view into the overall situation and a good starting point for the story. I don't read more

If you've watched any of the previous seasons of BnHA, then you know what to expect by this point. The animation is still pretty decent and seems on point. At least, nothing has stood out aside from a goofy moment or two. VAs seem on point as well. The usual characters are back with all their glory and we'll be getting some interesting developments for some of the favourites moving forward. We already have seen some developments and a lot of reveals so look forward to more of that.

The current arc should also be great for anime-only watchers and will have you feeling a wide read more

Ah Takagi-san, quite the spectacle to watch. When the first season aired a while back, it seemed like it would be just another anime. Thankfully, I was mistaken and it really delivered. If you've watched the first season, you would understand what I mean. What made this anime so great was the way it conducted itself and brought forth such raw emotions as you watched two kids have the time of their lives.

In this day and age when the focus is centered on having the best art quality at times, Takagi-san might not be the best there is, but the animation itself holds up well. read more

So, I typically don't review anime that I haven't finished or ones that I dropped because there is a chance that I missed something that happened later or that the anime just wasn't for me, but something about this anime really irked me to the point where I stopped watching it months ago, and when I thought about trying to continue watching recently, I couldn't. For starters, I'll try to avoid spoilers, but I have to spoiler one small part to explain why this anime was bothersome.

The art, and sound are typical of anime of this generation, neither being spectacular nor terrible in my opinion. read more

I've seen people knocking this anime because they feel that it falls short of the other anime Isekai Shokudou which aired a while ago. Both animes do have a lot of similarities, but this anime does have some differences that imo, make it at least on par, if not superior at times. One of the best thing is the continuity and the ending. For starters, this anime takes place in the same land so we always get to see some kind of continuity with the usual guards or others coming in compared to Isekai Shokudou where the door opens to different worlds all over.

The characters read more
